Why moz and ahrefs reported a remove link that is exist?
Hi there, Sam from Moz's Help Team here! So, it’s important to note that the data you’re seeing in Link Explorer is based on when we last crawled a link. This means that if a link is removed or altered after the last time we crawled it, it will still be marked as active until we attempt to recrawl that link again. You can see the date we last crawled a link by exporting a CSV from the Inbound Links section. In the CSV there will be a column for when we first discovered the link and a column for when we last crawled that link. If you’re not finding a link we’re reporting as discovered on a particular page, I would recommend looking to see when we last crawled that link. Although new link data is added to our index everyday, we currently try to re-crawl all high-quality pages at least every 90 days. Most links in the index come from pages that were crawled less than 6 months ago. Once we attempt to recrawl those links, if we’re not able to find them or crawl them, they will then be marked as lost in your Link Explorer report. You can read more about Discovered and Lost links in our Help Hub!

Tag Clouds in Google Despite Canonical Links for Single Tags/Articles
I was also noticing that tag clouds are doing better in SERPS than articles. This is surprising to me because before I was forced to take a leave of absence from the online word 7 years ago, it seemed like an original article with the term in the title would do better than a tag cloud. Even if the tag cloud had links to more articles about the same topic on the site.

How is Moz DA affected by spam links? Disavow file?
Hey there, Sam from Moz's Help Team here! So, a couple of things - all links do factor into your DA profile. When you disavow a link through Google, it doesn't actually remove the link, Google just stops putting SEO weight into it. So our crawler will still find the link. Unfortunately there isn't a way in Link Explorer to "disavow" a link yet so we will still show it. Disavowing a link doesn't take it away from our tools, so they will still appear as backlinks to your site. The fact that Google disregards them in relation to your site does not take them off the sites they are on, so best practice is to approach the webmaster first and request the link be removed. If you get no response then disavow with Google:). I also want to note here that your Spam Score in Moz Pro is actually the percentage of sites with similar features we've found to be penalized or banned by Google (it's not based on the spam score of the sites linking to you). To improve this score I would recommend reading our guide which explains the 27 factors used to make up this score. You can then look at your site and investigate areas you would like to improve on your site: https://moz.com/help/link-explorer/link-building/spam-score Best of luck, and let me know if I can help with anything else!

Outbound Links for Local SEO
Hey, We absolutely recommend externally linking to local relevant attractions. This is great from a user point of view as you are endorsing local events/services/attractions which is more likely to encourage customers to stay in that area and hopefully your hotel. Additionally, you are giving Google clear signals that your hotel website is relevant to that local area because of the geo citations and building of local authority. Hope this helps! Salience

Google hates me, not sure why
Yep, some similar to previous answer advice: lost opportunity for keywords internal linking not the best link profile. At a very basic you could look for good quality web directories and also try to check practices of your competitors (have you gather information who your competitors are?). Maybe there is an opportunity to get link from sites that links to your competitors. try to create good quality content with statistics and references to external, relevant websites (we would advice setting that as nofollow) what's your website mobile friendliness and speed - these two can significantly harm your website

What is the best strategy to SEO Discontinued Products on Ecommerce Sites?
James, I would still make these as out of stock. If these products don't get any organic search or traffic anyway, it is ok to re-direct them. The message above was for established products that have been indexed by Google over a long period of time. Please le the know if you have any questions. Also, if someone answer the question to your satisfaction you should mark the comment as a good comment

Whats up with the last google update.
This has been a theme since Aug 1st. People are Yo-yoing around. I watched a site go to 8th page to 2nd back to 8th and finally crawled its was back to the 2nd. I would wait a week or so and let everything cool down. I have been extremely perplexed by the recent algo updates. I am hoping for some predictability as well in the future. What I do see as a trend is sites with a lot of backlinks from a poor quality site ( Such as SEO by Company X ) are getting hit hard. Seeing a lot less backlinks from high authority sites ranking sites very well.

Is there a report or a place in Moz that I can see Hreflang errors for my site?
Hi there! I'm afraid we do not return error reports specific for "hreflang" issues within our Site Crawls. To see the types of "href" errors we return, check out the site crawl for a campaign or the on-demand crawl tool. I hope this helps - if you have any follow-up questions, feel free to reach to out to us: help@moz.com
