I'm having trouble getting the backlink results I expected with OSE.

Maybe I'm using the tool incorrectly, but my goal is to find as many external backlinks to my site that I can.

There's a user forum that I know for a fact has over 50 pages indexed in google and each of these pages has a link that goes to a unique page on my site, however OSE is indicating this website has only two pages that link to my site. Why isn't it reporting the other 48+ pages?

No tool is 100% accurate.

When were these links added if in the last few months they may not be showing yet.

Also have all of these pages been crawled by google yet?

Lastly try removing the www's when typing in the domain I have found some extra links by doing this when they were not visible to me with the www's

MozScape (which powers OSE) does not crawl the exact same pages as Google, and it doesn't crawl as many pages as Google. It could just be that those pages have not been crawled by us and that is why you're not seeing them.

The most recent forum post is dated Feb. 2012 and from there they go back several years to at least 2009.

The way I found them was with a google "site:domain + my-company-name" search so I would think that means they were crawled by google

Not using www was how I performed the search.
