Right now I think I only have 36. What is a good amount of pages to have?

Any ideas on  ways to add relevant pages to my site? I was thinking about starting a message board.

Also, I have a free tech support chat room, and was thinking about posting the logs somewhere on the site.  Does that sound like a good idea?

      Thanks.

Your site needs as many pages as it needs. There's not really any other answer for that question. A message board might help you to create a bigger footprint to index, and this is fine as long as it's relevant to your site's topic obviously, in order to attract the right visitors.

          Hi Cameron,

Your idea wih the logs may not be so great. I would consider the usefulness fo the logs to your users will they help your users? Probably, but not by having to rifle through hundreds of lines of logs.

Why not use the logs to find out your most common tech support issues and make a really good FAQ area?

This way you can preiodically review the logs and keep adding ew items to the FAQ and its going to help our visitors whilst adding great new content.

          Regards

          Aran

Your long-term goal can be to have pages for all of the important keywords of your niche.  I have a site that I have worked on every day for years with employees and there is still an ocean of content that we can produce.  Endless job.

I have another site in a much smaller niche that we are producing content to the point of keyword cannibalization.  The goal is to absolutely saturate the keyword range of the niche.
