  • Hi there, KD is not a static metric. It very much depends on who ranks for that search. So, if a website with high DA and great backlink profile starts ranking for it on the first page, then competition goes up, and, therefore, the KD score goes up. Or, even if no new players came to the first page, but if already ranking websites improve their backlink profile, then KD would go up as well. Keep in mind that MOZ's link crawls happen about once a month, so the changes in KD could be more drastic due to that. Makes sense?

  • Back to the "We were unable to access your site due to a page timeout on your robots.txt". Could it be the sitemap.xml page specified in the robots.txt is too slow? Sitemap: https://www.kpmg.us/sitemap.xml

  • I'm not sure why you would to stare blind at PA or DA in general. It's just a calculation from some link value pointed to your domain, with no indication or link with google. You can have a PA or DA of 80 and still perform worse in Google or in Bing for that matter. The more incoming (follow) links the better your DA will grow (over time). My DA is stuck at 76, but i know it takes far more links from this point on to grow even further then when going from DA 10 to 20 or so. It's normal. And i dont really look at it anymore. What matters is organic traffic, good content and having everything as healthy as possible.

  • Hello, Can we request that keywords with "no data" are added by Moz in future so that we can see those figures. I can go to Google Keyword Planner but it's much less convenient to use 2x sources for this. Thanks, G

  • Hey there, Thanks so much for reaching out! So, Moz's Spam Score is the percentage of sites with similar features we've found to be penalized or banned by Google (it's not based on the spam score of the sites linking to you). To improve this score I would recommend reading our guide which explains the 27 factors used to make up this score. You can then look at your site and investigate areas you would like to improve on your site: https://moz.com/help/link-explorer/link-building/spam-score Best of luck, and let me know if I can help with anything else!

  • Hi Catcoo, In order to find the answer to your queries here I think it may be best if you could provide a few more details on which of the Moz tools you're using, and some screenshots. You're welcome to email those over to help@moz.com If you're looking at anchor text info in Link Explorer please note that this won't update as soon as you add new pages, or update content on a page, this data comes from our link index which will update the next time we crawl your site and page.  https://moz.com/help/link-explorer/link-building/moz-isnt-finding-your-links I'm not sure what you mean about links not showing when you have anchor text, if this is to do with how your content is displayed on your page you may need to investigate this further with Wordpress support. They have a bunch of help forums to get you started here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ https://wordpress.com/forums/ I hope this helps!

  • Newly discovered links have the ability to be populated into our index in about 1-3 days, however there are a lot of factors which can affect our ability to find and index links to your site. It's important to note that we add new data to our index everyday but it may take some time for us to discover backlinks to your site based on factors like crawlability of the referring pages, quality of the links and the referring pages, and more. If you are not seeing links that you know you have, you may want to make sure that they can be indexed. It is also a good idea to check to see if we've indexed the page on which that link is found. If we haven't indexed the referring page yet, you won't see your link in our index You can also add links to Link Tracking Lists. Once you add a link to your tracking lists we will add that page to be crawled. As long as it is accessible to our crawler, you should see the link in our index as soon as we can index those pages. Lastly, I have a great guide here with some things to check around why we may not have found your links yet: https://moz.com/help/link-explorer/link-building/moz-isnt-finding-your-links I hope this helps!

  • Hi there, Sam from Moz's Help Team here! Are you referring to your Campaigns? If so,  unfortunately, there's no way to change the URL your Campaign is tracking once the Campaign has been created.  Once a Campaign URL is set it cannot be changed because of way we track and store historical data; it would get really confusing to have data for more than one website in a single report. The best thing I could recommend would be to create a fresh Campaign for the new URL. https://analytics.moz.com/campaigns/new You can read more about Campaign setup here https://moz.com/help/moz-pro/getting-started/campaign-setup If you're asking about Link Explorer, you don't need to notify us of a redirect manually - We do take 301 redirects into account in terms of our index updates. Something to note though is that for us to update any 301 link, we would need to re-discover the old pages to be able to follow and update the metrics. This is not likely common for sites with lower authority since old links are not continuously shared on new pages/articles/blogs.   Link Explorer works solely through link discovery and crawling. For every link we index/crawl, these links are not guaranteed to be re-crawled. I hope this helps answer your question! If there's anything else you need, just let me know — I'm always here if you need any help!

  • Hey! Thanks for reaching out to us! The only way to check for Domain Authority, Page Authority or Spam Score in bulk would be our Links API. You can read all about the API and how it works and what's required over in our Help Hub pages, here: https://moz.com/help/links-api I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or if there's anything that needs clarifying! Eli
