Hi Moz Team, Link Explorer is not working. Our backlinks are not being indexed. Can anyone tell me how long this will be fixed?

The only thing I can fathom is that some of your links aren't really being counted. There could be some legitimate reasons for that! For example, some links are no-followed and the links callutheran.edu seem to be from pages which have billions of links on (link-list URLs) which we know Google does not like to count Pinoy Flix It's possible you got links from some great sites, but all that benefit was nullified by the format under which your links 'actually went live' (e.g: being on spammy link list URLs or being no-followed, or both!)

Hey Natalie, I didn't know about the tracking list, I absolutely do that. The problem is that I know that I have the backlinks and other audit tools show that. I have the problem in the MOZ link explorer. Anyway, I will add my backlinks to the tracking list, I hope it solves my problem.

Also, many people don't know this, for an example, you have spam score at MOZ  20,30 but you have just a few backlinks with also big spam score then you go and find links with spam score 0,1,2 and connect with them you will see as many links with lower spam score you connect your spam score is going down. LIKE SOME WAGE.

Domain Authority is a purely Moz metric and is different from Domain Rating. Here's a preview of the video: Domain Authority is a score (on a 100-point scale) developed by Moz that predicts how well a website will rank on search engines. Use Domain Authority when comparing one site to another or tracking the “strength” of your website over time. We calculate this metric by combining all of our other link metrics—linking root domains, number of total links, etc.—into a single score. 16% is not that high. It shouldn't affect your reputation. If you don't have any spammy backlinks, I guess the topics covered by your website are also covered by some spammy sites, even if you have nothing to do with them. For example, many internet security portals and forums have high spam scores even though their contents are not spammy at all.

Moz uses a crawler (bot) to discover links in a similar way as most search engines do. It takes time for the bot to discover new links. You can either wait for the bot to do its job or try to help it find your links sooner. The latter means promoting the sites/pages where the links are hosted and using the Link Tracking Lists in Moz Pro.

To understand how to improve DA (Domain Authority) it can help to get some insight into how we gather our data, which I'll include below. Sorry in advance for the long message! To calculate DA, we index the web by following links using a crawler. Our crawler is built on a machine-learning based model that is optimized to select pages like those that appear in our collection of Google SERPs. We feed the machine learning model with features of the URL like the backlink counts for the URL and the PLD (pay-level domains), features about the URL like its length and how many subdirectories it has, and features on the quality of the domains linking to the URL and PLD. So, it's not based on any one particular metric, but we're training the crawler to start with high-value links. In terms of improving your Domain Authority, with the information above in mind, it's best to look at both you on-page SEO to make sure you've covered the basics. Then you also want to look at your off-site SEO and building more links more links to your site. There are lots of different areas of Link Building to explore, from patching up broken links, improving your internal link profile, and good ol' fashioned content creation. Hi Loknath , That Da you are seeing is the Average DA of the domains that you placed inside the tracking list that does not reflect the Increase DA of your website. In order to increase DA you need to make backlinks over your backlinks to explain more I have illustrated below : (A) Backlinks pointing > to your Websites Make quality backlinks to > (A) Backlinks

I've been having the same issue with my news website. Ahrefs and Search Console have indexed links but MOZ hasn't.

However, there are a lot of factors which can affect our ability to find and index links to your site. It's important to note that we are always adding new data to our index, but it may take some time for us to discover backlinks to your site based on factors like crawlability of the referring pages, quality of the links and the referring pages, and more. If you are not seeing links that you know you have, you may want to make sure that they can be indexed. It is also a good idea to check to see if we've indexed the page on which that link is found. If we haven't indexed the referring page yet, you won't see your link in our index. You can also add links to Link Tracking Lists. Once you add a link to your tracking lists we will add that page to be crawled. As long as it is accessible to our crawler, you should see the link in our index as soon as we can index those pages.
