Get up and running with the Moz tools.

  • Hey Jeff - I was able to hop into your account and check out the stats - changing from weekly to monthly is looking good on my end. If you are seeing issues or discrepancies with the reporting send them over to help@moz.com or click the blue chat button on the bottom-right of the screen in Moz.

  • Hi there Sometimes data collecting can take upto 24 hours. Don't worry. This is normal. Crawlers take a little bit of time. If you don't see your data after 24 hours or so, take a look at the Moz Help guide, or reach out here. Hope this helps! Good luck!

  • Hi Kayleigh, Like Patrick said, just try to recrawl these pages. I assume that will fix the problem. If that still gives the errors I would make sure to try it again with adjusted speed. Some servers automatically block crawlers (IP’s) that give a spike in there server requests. Screaming Frog can easily trigger this (happened to me aswell). You can set the speed under configuration. If you give this a try I would go with one thread at a time and 0,5 URL’s a second. That worked for me. When it was a block it could be needed to get your IP address unblocked before you try it again. Good luck!

  • I totally agree with you, you do need unique content to rank and Martine's page (coz this discussion took off a bit) had a lot, a lot of unique content. So that's why i was considering that having keywords appearing a 15+ times on her page would not do any harm. Keyword stuffing can affect your rankings, of course, but only if you have thin content and/or if you do it to influence rankings (as an example, a client of mine had his titles on all pages like this: RV Insurance | Buy Rv Insurance | Best Rv Insurance | Rv Insurance Online | Rv Insurance Quotes - and the last paragraph  on each page was 3-4 lines of RV Insurance related keyword spam - and guess what, there was no penalty and the site still ranks well for it's keywords).

  • Hello! What you will want to do is look at your crawl diagnostics in a campaign to get a better understanding of the errors. The CSV is helpful to hand over to a web developer to address any issues. There is a mix of positive and negative errors you will find in the report. You can use the data viewed in a campaign as a guideline. TRUE values mean the errors for the specific column exist, these are the ones you will pay close attention to. FALSE values mean they do not exist. Most FALSE values will not appear in a campaign so many of the cells in a CSV will show this. Hope this helps!

  • The crawl is automatic, so there's no setting to adjust. If you're trying to create a new campaign, go here: http://analytics.moz.com/manage-campaigns and select "+ New Campaign" in the top right corner.  Cheers!

  • Hi, I would like to suggest few ways to find the list of keyword currently used in your website. 1>Check view source of each page and see what keywords used in meta title, H1 tag & content. These are the very important place where people use keywords to optimize. 2>Second check in webmaster tools & analytics if your site is not brand new. In these two you will find by which keywords website getting traffic. 3>Use open site explorer (a moz tool). To use this tool for keyword ideas, enter website URL and go to the Anchor Text Distribution tab. I hope above methods helps you. Thanks

  • Its not matter that, what about your MozRank and the MozTrust. Try to build authority website. Then you will see everything is okey. Main focus is your content, Onpage. Write good content & Increase social signal. I think, When your PA & DA will increasing, then all problem will be solve. So, Just work. Cheers !

  • Hey there, This is Michael on the Moz Help Team! Sorry to hear about the trouble here. To see the source of those errors, you’ll need to export your full Crawl Diagnostics CSV, which you can do by clicking the "Email CSV" button at the bottom of the issues overview. Once the report generates, it will be emailed to you and you will want to open it up in something like Excel. In the first column, perform a search for the URL of the page you are looking for. When you find the correct row, look in the column labeled Referrer (column AM). This tells you the referral URL of the page where our crawlers first found the target URL. You can then visit this URL to find where we linked to that page. Hope that helps!

  • Thanks Ryan. I'd set up a filter for my own IP but it appears to have changed. I'll try this and see if it works. Cheers!

  • Hi, There's an update to Mozscape scheduled for tomorrow (11th March). You can keep track of the update on the API page at http://moz.com/products/api. A better (faster and more accurate) way to measure progress of your SEO campaign is through your Analytics account. There's a ton of blogs on Moz about this at http://moz.com/blog/category/analytics.

  • The latest update is scheduled for Thursday but you should have seen some updates via email regarding the crawl and completion of your campaign. Chances are you'll see further data once you've completed a Thursday week to week cycle currently. Cheers!

  • Hi There, I hope that this message finds everyone well and you are all having an amazing day! As mentioned before it is pretty tricky to determine why Google does not index a particular site. They are a bit secretive by nature so the issue could range from anywhere from the site being penalized by Google to an issue with ones hosting provider. As mentioned by some of our other amazing community members, Google Web Master Tools and Google Analytics are some very excellent resources. It does seem very strange that you would be routed to the question and answer forum. Hmmm, we have not heard of this issue before. If you are logged into your account you should be able to follow this link: http://analytics.moz.com/pro/home and be able to get access to Moz Analytics. Once here I would recommend entering in your site and checking out our crawl diagnostics section. This is an awesome portion of the site because it will point our areas of improvement with the site and general recommendations for improvement. Hopefully this helps and if you are still running into some issues please let me know. Have a magical day and I look forward to speaking with you soon!

  • Hello! Would you be able to provide me with your twitter handle? It is likely linked to an older account which will need to be unlinked so you can connect.

  • James I currently use Sitelock which disallows unwanted bots to crawl the site. The MOZ is unable to crawl however we can input a white list of ip addresses comming from MOZ. How are you guys going around this issue? Raul
