  • Bummer!  I didn't get a postcard, but I agree... really not liking the upgrade.  I don't care about fancy... just useful.

  • Hi Peter, I am just wondering if we are any closer to a launch date (or any kind of timeframe) for the branded reporting?

  • Ok, thanks for the answer and for the link. It seems that only 4 people asked for Piwik integration, which means it's not coming anytime soon. It's kinda sad, but I guess I won't be able to use Moz Analytics. Anway, I'll still recommend you to everyone asking me for a good SEO/analytics tool! Have a nice day. Cheers

  • As Dan has suggested, you may be best to contact Moz support about this, but it's not really a case of Moz not understanding the characters but the characters being different. For example, the letter ā is not the same as a I am not an expert at this but: ā would encode to this in a URL: %26%23257%3B whereas a would encode to this: a For your keywords, bīstamo-kravu-pārvadājumi would encode to this: b%26%23299%3Bstamo-kravu-p%26%23257%3Brvad%26%23257%3Bjumi and not this: bistamo-kravu-parvadajumi It might be worth trying b%26%23299%3Bstamo-kravu-p%26%23257%3Brvad%26%23257%3Bjumi as the URL rather than bistamo-kravu-parvadajumi and then re-testing in Moz. • Hello there! Currently we are not seeing any issues with OSE. If you are still experiencing the issue could you email us your account details to help@moz.com? Cheers!

  • You are welcome to work with the URLs in search results. I am unsure what numbers you are attempting to match.

  • Hi Arjen, 408 errors are timeout type errors so the first thing that comes to mind is what kind of web server you are on. If it is shared then there might have been a surge in traffic to your site or another site on the same host and this slowed down requests enough that the moz crawler got these results returned. You could try running a scan with screaming frog which will scan the site in a similar way to the moz crawler (ie multiple requests at the same time) and if you see the errors there also then this can confirm that the issue is likely with your server setup and not a moz bug.

  • Is this related? I archived a campaign and created a new one a couple of days ago. The new one is still not in Moz Analytics...and that is the one I so need to set up Mentions queries for. Any ideas?  Love the Analytics! And want to use it! Thanks! UPDATE: Thanks! I submitted a ticket as suggested.

  • Hey Antony! Thanks for writing in. As of now, we aren't sure. I know we've had issues getting non-US data providers to open up and let us look at listings, so it has been a challenge. Sorry about the vagueness of my reply, but it's been tough for us to get other "local" data. We hope to have some big changes to GetListed! early next year, so be on the look out. Also please give us more feedback on the feature request forum where others can vote up features they're looking for: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-Moz-Feature-Requests Thanks! • Nope, these are unrelated issues. The lack of meta descriptions is an error in your code.

  • DA and PA are modeled somewhat independently, if memory serves, and they aren't scaled against each other (only other metrics of their kind), so it is possible for you to have a DA that's lower than your PA. Typically, that would mean that the majority of your strength is rooted in the home-page, as Martijn said. Unless there's a big discrepancy, it's generally not any cause for alarm.

  • Hi! Thanks for reaching out You are absolutely right here. OSE currently doesn't support https because our crawler doesn't have the ability to authenticate itself with https sites. While we do notice the https site, we won't follow the links due to this limitation. That said, this is a feature that we have built and is currently in the testing phase. I don't have an exact date I can reply on when this will be deployed, but we're hoping to get this update out in the next 2-3 months. It's good to note that if the link is several levels deep (in the site), our crawler still might not detect the link because we use a first-breadth approach that is detailed in our help hub at:http://moz.com/help/pro/ose-overview . I hope this helps clarify things for you and have a great day! Best, Sam Moz Helpster

  • Yes, we do update you via email once the issue is resolved. If you haven't had an update via email yet, then the engineers are most likely still investigating the issue. There are also number of reasons that you may be seeing a discrepancy in numbers such as traffic, fans/followers, and engagement that would not be related to a bug. For example, if the site is being shared or even visited through a link shortener, such as bit.ly, we would also not be able to include that information since the social APIs don't follow the redirect and just provide us with share and traffic data for the specific URL. Also, we can only show interactions and fans for public accounts, so anyone who likes a page or a post from a private account would not be included in your metrics, as a limitation of Facebook's API. Also, i I recommend following up again in the email with any further issues you are experiencing. This will allow Abe, who is managing your ticket, to send that information directly over to our engineers. Chiaryn

  • My pleasure! Exactly - as Keri explained, they try to crawl the most valuable links. By linking to the correct pinterest page, you will signal to MOZ (and google) that your Pinterest profile is worth crawling/indexing, and it will gain more page authority as well.

  • Hey Craig, Thanks a ton for writing in! Currently we are kicking around some ideas as to what we should include in our diagnostic CSVs.  In the meantime, we really appreciate feedback and feature requests; they help us decide what parts of our software development to prioritize. Here's the feature request forum we use to collect ideas: http://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-seomoz-pro-feature-requests You can vote for features you'd like to see and suggest your own, both of which help our product team in deciding what to build next. Add your request there and hopefully we'll see it come to fruition sometime down the line. Thanks again, and best of luck! Have a great day, Peter Moz Help Team.
