GWT and internal link emulation
Hey there! Tawny from Moz's Help Team here. Unfortunately, this falls outside the scope of the product support we can provide, and more into the realm of SEO consulting. I'm definitely not an SEO expert, so I don't know the best way to go about setting up your site. Hopefully one of our lovely community members will have some thoughts that can help you out! Sorry I can't be more help here — if you have any Moz tool-related questions, just give us a shout at help@moz.com and we'll do our very best to answer them all.

Page Title showing Twice when I check it through Moz Bar
Hey there! Tawny from Moz's Help Team here. I think I can help explain what you're seeing in the MozBar. I took a look at that page, and it looks like there's more than one title tag in the source code: https://www.screencast.com/t/exH7aqRt0 Best practice would be to have just one title tag in place for each page. As for that Alt Text, I found that in the source code as well: https://www.screencast.com/t/OruvfWwtqJ It might be worth sitting down with your web developer and making sure that just the text you want to appear as Alt Text is in those alt tags in the code. I hope this helps! If you've still got questions about the tools we can help with, feel free to give us a shout over at help@moz.com and we'll do our best to sort everything out with you.

Reworked the keyword strategy - affect on reports
Hey there! Sam from Moz's Help Team here! Which Rankings reports were you referring to? If you mean the weekly rankings reports, those from this point on will only include your current keywords - not the ones you've removed. If you're asking about Custom Reports, you'll just want to head into your Custom Report and check that the timeframe for the rankings module has been adjusted to exclude those recently removed keywords. For instance, set the timeframe to 'Last week'. If you leave it at 'Last month' (or something of the sort) for now, you'll still have results for the older keywords until a full month has passed and your campaign has been running for a new month only including the newer keywords. I hope this helps to clarify! If not or if you have any other questions feel free to ask away - if you'd like us to take a look at any campaigns specifically, please do pop a message over to help@moz.com:).

Site crawl only shows homepage
Hi SEOchris, Thanks for your answer. I checked the robots.txt file, changed the User Agent to Googlebot in Screaming Frog, but non of these gave new insights. For now, we don't have access yet to the server log files, but when we have, hopefully they will tell us more.

Cannot download Mozbar
Hey there! Sorry about the trouble with the MozBar. We do here reports on this from time to time from our users, but usually it resolves fairly quickly. If it's not resolving please check that you're not blocking third party cookies from your browser. Here is a guide to checking this at your end https://moz.com/help/guides/research-tools/mozbar#more-help Once you've checked you're allowing third party cookies, please close the MozBar out completely, and then your browser out completely and then re-launch. Then activate MozBar and try clicking on the blue "Log in" link a few times. Each time a new tab opens and the log in should register after a few clicks. [image: mozbar_login2writing5frames.gif] Let me know if this helps at all! If you're still stuck I'll send over some more troubleshooting suggestions.

Does Organic CTR from Keyword Explorer show percentage of 1st position clicks? If not, how to calculate?
Hi Meghan, Thanks for replying during the holiday period, I didn't expect a response until after christmas! Sorry to be nit picky, I really appreciate your help, but I'm still not clear on what exactly is calculated or how to solve my problem. Your answer could get interpreted in a few ways so for the sake of clarity (and to satisfy my OCD haha) could you please tell me which statement below is correct... statement 1 or statement 2: Statement 1: Organic CTR gives a relative click-through-rate for ALL the organic search results on the page. Statement 2: Organic CTR gives a relative click-through-rate for the #1 position on the search results page. Also your link regarding landing pages and estimated traffic looks great (https://moz.com/help/guides/moz-pro-overview/rankings/landing-pages) but since I do not already rank for these keywords it won't provide me with the data I need. I need to know the estimate search traffic before I start targeting keywords, not after I rank for them. So I still need to know what is the CTR for a number 1 position compared to the other organic search results. Do you know what I should be using for this number? Research tell me it can be anything from 40% to 20%... but I am yet to find a definitive answer to this. Again, thanks for your help! Thanks, Ben

Can I retrieve city based keywords from Moz Keyword Explorer?
Hey! Thanks for reaching out to us! Unfortunately there is no way to track local keywords within Keyword Explorer. Alternatively you can add "Local Keywords" from the Add & Manage Keywords tab in the Rankings section of your Campaign. Just input the list of keywords that you would like to track for a particular locale and then select the checkbox next to the "Track locally" option. From there, a location field will expand and you can enter your preferred locales there. Here is a screenshot: http://www.screencast.com/t/SeMOoDgvWhLO The locales we include are specific to the Google search engine only, and our list is based on a finite postal code database, so you may not see every locale you would like to track in the list. It is helpful to be very specific when entering the locale and it can help to include a specific neighborhood, state, or county name when entering the locale (e.g. Melbourne, Victoria vs. Melbourne, Australia). You can also add a new locale for any keywords you are tracking for a different locale by selecting from your existing list of keywords here: http://www.screencast.com/t/okZd9Cuj. Each keyword can be tracked nationally and across multiple locations. Please note that if you track keywords nationally and locally, or across multiple locales, each location will count as a separate keyword in your total keyword limit. You can read more why to track local keywords in our guide. And more about how to track local keywords, also in our guide. Let me know if I can help with anything else! Have a great day! Eli

Why doesn't the Keyword Explorer "Explore By Site" work?
Hi Maureen, I'm sorry to hear - There must of been some kind of error as we normally respond within 24hrs. The last message sent from your @insight email seems to of been 8 months ago. If you head into any page of your Campaigns, you should be able to see a little blue chat bubble in the bottom right hand corner of your screen. If you click on that, you will be able to set up a new help ticket.

Gap between Keyword Explorer and SEPR Analysis
Hi there! Jo here from the Moz support team. It's a bit tricky to say what's going on here without examples. I wonder if you would be able to send details of the websites, urls and keywords you're looking at to help@moz.com and we can look into this further at our end. Cheers! Jo

On-page Grader API?
I'm also interested in this. I might build my own (for our clients) in case there is not API available for Moz On-Page Grader or similar tool. Are there any open source tools that do On-Page grading? In any case, it would be nice to have peek under the hood at Moz On-Page grader.

Keyword Explorer search tips&tricks e.g. A&B , A&B Not C, AorB
Hey there! Tawny from Moz's Help Team here! Unfortunately, there's no way to use modifiers in your searches in Keyword Explorer to see results for, for example, "Apple and Oranges" but not "Kiwi." The tool is looking for exact matches for the keywords you enter, and it doesn't have any sense of modifiers to exclude or include different terms. The best thing to do would be to search for your keywords and then simply group keyword suggestions by high lexical similarity to the terms you've entered, or exclude your search terms for broader results. Sorry we don't have more sophisticated filters in Keyword Explorer just yet! If you have any more questions or there's anything else we can help with, feel free to give us a shout over at help@moz.com and we'll do what we can to get things sorted out.

Is any tool which is similar to LDA? Topic modeling
Hey there! I had a little dig into LDA (this tool was before my time) and it looks like a content relevancy analyzer. From what I understand, there are so many factors to consider in modern ranking algorithms and signals that there may not be one tool or metric that does this. Of course I could be wrong, so I hope other people jump in with their tool tips as well! In terms of Moz tools, I can suggest the Page Optimization tool in Moz Pro and MozBar. Resources below https://moz.com/help/guides/moz-pro-overview/on-page-optimization https://moz.com/help/guides/research-tools/mozbar I hope this is helpful! Cheers! Jo

Keyword Explorer - root domain (NEW): Domains outside US & Canada - no or no meaningful results
Hi Dave, We have similar issues with the new searching for keywords by root domain functionality in keyword explorer. We are based in Australia and need rankings for google.com.au, which is what we have set up within our campaign ranking reports. The explorer tool rankings are way off and not accurate for our site's actual rankings. Also, many of the top, high volume keywords that we are tracking and for which we rank on first page for are not even appearing when I do an explorer search using our root domain. Is the root domain functionality within keyword explorer providing results based on google.com rather than google.com.au? Does this mean that if we are outside the US that we can't use the tool as it is not accurate? Cheers, Damien
