Is it currently possible to have a company logo appear with a Google search result?
Rel=publisher will display your company logo and Google+ page on the right hand side of branded search terms (search terms close to or exactly your company name). Google will not allow you to upload a non-headshot (such as a logo) for a rel=author snippet that will appear directly in your search result.

How do i sell myself more?
Yes planning and focus are key! I start every day with a list of things that need to get done arranged most to least. That way I'm sure to accomplish everything. As for around the office I can give you a few more tips. Go out of your way to do something extra and help others without being asked. Do more than what your paid for. Nobody likes a show off but everyone loves the guy that helps them without being asked and makes them look good at their job. Also this is usually the type of person that gets promoted and survives reduction. Just as in social and link building the easiest way to get something is to give it first. Show respect and you'll get it!

Wow! Thanks guys! These are all extremely helpful. I think I will start with a sprinkle of the @EGOL meanwhile running with the @Takeshi, and finishing with some of the @Francisco method! Awesome feed back guys, I am so glad I can fall back on my SEO Mozer Clan!

Is this still Google?
It looks like the dust is still settling from the "updates" Google was applying last week. Some of my content has been dancing for the past few days as well.

Ideal SEO / Social Media Employee Skillset
Thanks again Seb, that makes a lot of sense. I definitely see the difficulty in finding someone who is both logical and creative, especially someone who can bring both those skills to the workplace.

What are the click-through rates by position for organic search on Google by industry?
I really don’t think there is any tool who is finding the avg. CTR for any keyword or industry at the moment but you can find it yourself manually as CTR is based on the formula which is something like this! CTR is the number of clicks that your ad receives divided by the number of times your ad is shown (called impressions). If this is what you are looking for!

How do you learn SEO effectively, with so much information out there
As far as accredited courses, the closest one that comes to mind is Market Motive which works with some colleges and has some excellent courses on SEO. (They have a couple free webinars each month that you can sign up for as well). I have been trying out DistilledU ($40/month) which provides beginner and advanced modules on SEO and I think it is really well done. A good starting point is to watch all the Whiteboard Friday videos by SEOMoz. They are very informative and cover a wide range of important issues.

SearchDex for SEO consultation? Price feedback?
Hi Rick, Unfortunately I don't have much experience with SearchDex, and I certainly don't want to comment on a company I don't know much about (other than the JCPenny thing) But I will tell you how I might evaluate a company. I'll look at their social media profiles. Do they follow industry leaders on Twitter? Do they contribute to the SEO community (blogging, conferences, participation in forums like this) Do they have a decent blog? Who are there clients? Most, but not all, firms have a public list of clients you can check out. How do they rank? Do they guarantee rankings? This is usually a bad sign. Our friend Rhea Drysdale recently wrote about this on her company blog How to Choose an SEO Company: Excerpt... Request case studies and contacts from like industries/site size to ensure they can handle your work Testimonials (if these aren’t published, ask for them, it may simply be that the SEO company has NDAs that protect their clients — like Outspoken Media does!) Talk to their current clients Along the same lines, if they display client logos, call them Google them and check out their online reputation Look at how the site is written and identify warnings (e.g. big guarantees or language that sounds too good to be true) Check the site’s own rankings, community engagement, backlink count and domain authority, etc. Check industry visibility Ask for their methods Question their ethics for grey areas to see if they align with your needs Question their tool set (Does it sound outdated? If it’s proprietary, do they keep the data if you leave? Can they report on what you need?) If you're generating a few hundred thousand a year in revenue, this is something worth investing in. I'd advise talking to at least 2-3 different vendors and getting proposals from all of them. Finally, you may be familiar with the SEOmoz Recommended List, but it's always a good place to start.

What is the most current advice on editing your company Wikipedia page?

How can you change 'Google related searches'?
Hi, we're running some tests where we have a user search the primary (brand) term, and then have them go back and search for a positive term (brand name + product name) or something like that. In small tests, we've seen this have a positive impact on 'related searches'. However, we are just now rolling this out on larger test cases, so the jury is still out on how much it'll work. I suspect it is a combination of this plus some of the tactics used to manipulate Autocomplete that'll do the trick. Let me know if you have any luck or want to brainstorm!

Google Algorithm Update .. Author-rank finally kicking in ?
Well actually one site is 5 months old the other one is 7 years old. One went from 50 uniques to 200 uniques a day the other one from 1000 to 2000 uniques. So its across the board.
