Google Analytics Offline Conversions
IfByPhone actually owns Mongoose Metrics now. I manage a fairly large amount of AdWords campaigns. I truly believe that the free conversion tool that AdWords provides outranks any other service for the simple fact that there is no cost and you get the same amount of information. I wish there was a better way to tie revenue to keywords.

Looking for a competent SEO firm or consultant
First, you don't want to hire an SEO company that makes "guarantees" about getting you 1st page Google placement within a short amount of time. A) Google's in charge, not them, so they can't promise you anything. B) Generally, the techniques that are utilized to get you 1st page results quickly are against Google's quality guidelines and are easily discovered and penalized by Google. https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/66356?hl=en To elaborate on point B, more specifically, I'm talking about the creation of "unnatural" backlinks that are intended solely to boost rankings for particular keywords. I would definitely interview the SEO company and ask them what sort of techniques they employ. If they mention link building, I would insist on seeing samples of links they've built for clients. If they show you poorly written articles or discussion forum posts containing money keyword links such as "house painter boise" or "office furniture delaware" then I would recommend you avoid the company. These exact match anchor texts can improve a website's ranking for such terms in the short-term. In the long-term, however, a website's link profile will show very obvious signs of abuse. It's kind of like a person who's been on steroids for an extensive period of time and will inevitably get slapped with a manual or algorithmic penalty. You want a more modern and up-to-date company that utilizes quality content marketing and creative social media and marketing solutions to garner your website more natural links. I would also attempt to diagnose if your website currently has any such penalties. You can use Google's Webmaster Tools to check if you have a manual penalty, or you can use something like the Fruition.net Google Penalty checker to see if you were negatively impacted by Panda or Penguin. If any of the above prove to be the case, I would then do a lot of research on penalty recovery before hiring an SEO company to improve rankings.

PPC Keyword list
Hi I know this is a bit late, but I just wanted to follow up in case you were doing this again in the future. There will always be high volume queries out there, but your goal with starting a campaign for one product is likely to make sure that product is a viable source of profit. I would suggest starting out with the most specific queries first, then moving "up the funnel" to more vague, less specific queries. This doesn't even have to be done all at once. This can be done in stages if you are trying to launch fast. So if you're selling a specific electronic device, you can start with the specific model number, then to the most common name for that specific device (in the case of Phones, you could call it the G3 instead of LGVX####), then to manufacturer and the most general of queries (like "new phone").

Looking to syndicate content - can't use PR Web or Outbrain URGENT!
Hi How about Facebook Ads, I have used this in the past and a good way to reach your target audience. It can be reality cheap as well to advertise. Can you use the company's social media to post the articles. Alternatively look at the key influencers in the industry (if you are in the UK, then Lad bible) and try get them to repost your content, they will be a relative audience that drives a lot of traffic. Thanks Andy

PPC for Luxury Goods Website
Hi Karl If it is a brand new PPC account with no or very little history I would advise you to start bidding on brand terms only to build up your quality score. Use exact and phrase match only. Once your CPC has come down a bit do your generic keywords research and try to find keywords that are a) relevant to your brand and its target audience, b) have decent search volume and c) affordable d)are present on the landing page of your PPC campaign. You might have to select / create several landing pages for your PPC tailed for individual PPC ad groups each with its set of narrowly themed keywords. Keywords' components like "luxury", high-end", "quality", "designer" etc may be relevant, but it depends on your product category and brand. You can also right away add certain keywords to negative list e.g. second-hand, cheap, ebay, gumtree, amazon etc, basically all the keywords that are opposite of luxury and premium.

Add Cyber Monday Terms To Keyword List Effectively
There is no need to do all those variations in keyword order if you are using broad, or modified broad match keywords. The ordering of the keywords do not matter for broad or modified broad, so you only need one query structure. e.g X Y Cyber Monday Z and Cyber Monday Z X Y will BOTH get triggered by the BMM (broad match modified) kw: +X +Y +Z +Cyber +Monday. It may not even be necessary to include Z in the query pattern but that all depends on impression volume.

How To Increase Clicks In Google Shopping?
Just seen the update to this question. If you have a high value, high margin product, yes you might be able to afford a AU$20 cost per conversion, but if you are only making AU$15 on a sale, then this makes no sense at all. Hope this keeps the little grey cells working. Bruce.

How to find a good PPC firm
I'd add a couple questions to what's already been said. Will I be able to see the campaign events through my own Google Analytics account? If so, will you be setting up campaign goals with GA for me or is that something I have to track myself? What types of recommendations will you be making to improve the campaign? One thing to add, I'd suggest that you set up the Google Tag Manager account and provide access to the agency. That way, you'll be able to have one Google code that addresses Google Analytics and GTM on your site. You'll also retain the historic information from the account if the relationship with the agency ends.

Adsense vs Adroll Remarketing
I am using AdWords remarketing, and I tested AdRoll retargeting between April and May this year. At the time I did some research (but I don't have the links at hand), my understanding is AdWords coverage is 65% of the web, AdRoll (which include Facebook and other sources) reach 99% of the web. That should give you an estimate of the overlapping. If you activate both, AdRoll retargeting and AdWords remarketing, for the overlapping portion they will compete with each other and rise your bid/spending, which is something you really don't want. That's why you should either exclude AdWords from Adroll or test disabling AdWords remarketing all together. When we tested AdRoll we did because we wanted to broad the audience, and we wanted to test how good AdRoll was at retargeting on Facebook. In fact we also tested retargeting on Facebook, directly using Facebook Ads. The conclusion of the tests where not good. CPA was much higher with AdRoll than AdWords, between 5X and 10X, was also significantly higher when compared to the Facebook ads we ran by ourselves. CTR of the AdRoll ads (when compared to AdWords remarketing) was extremely good, between 3% and 5%, but CR was horrible. AdRoll sales people and support was incredibly nice, but the numbers where poor, and after 4 weeks testing we stopped using AdRoll. When checking AdRoll dashboard be sure to understand the difference between ViewThroughConversions and ClickThroughConversions, admirably AdRoll clearly list conversions as such in the dashboard (Facebook is hiding that behind few clicks in the settings of the campaign), but in the same dashboard the CPA is calculated solely on the base of the ViewThroughConversions, yet if you ask the support they will change that, but you can't do it by yourself (at least at the time was not possible).

How Do You Remove the "Google Site Stats" Tag from a Conversion Page
Displaying "Site Stats logo" is optional since ages ( http://adwords.blogspot.hu/2008/09/conversion-tracking-site-stats-logo-is.html ). You can modify the "Tracking Indicator" setting of the existing conversion to "Don't add a notification to the code generated for my page." and generate a new tracking code. The only difference will be in the following line, this way you can change all your conversion codes in bulk: var google_conversion_format = "2"; // WITH Site Stats logo var google_conversion_format = "3"; // WITHOUT Site Stats logo Hope this helps, feel free to ask.

Adwords negative keywords / keyword lists conflicting?
Thanks for all responses. Here is an official Google reply on negative keyword types: Negative exact would only not show when the exact term is the entire query. Negative phrase would not show anytime the term showed anywhere in the query in that order. Negative would not show anytime the entire term showed anywhere in the search query in any order. Say you had the keyword "blue mercedes car" on broad match. Here's how the different versions of the negative keyword "fast blue" would affect this ad. -fast blue (Negative) POSSIBLE SEARCHES: blue mercedes car - WOULD SHOW blue fast mercedes car - WOULD NOT SHOW mercedes fast car - WOULD SHOW car blue mercedes fast - WOULD NOT SHOW fast blue - WOULD NOT SHOW blue fast - WOULD NOT SHOW fast blue mercedes car - WOULD NOT SHOW -"fast blue" (Negative Phrase) POSSIBLE SEARCHES: blue mercedes car - WOULD SHOW blue fast mercedes car - WOULD SHOW mercedes fast car - WOULD SHOW car blue mercedes fast - WOULD SHOW fast blue - WOULD NOT SHOW blue fast - WOULD SHOW fast blue mercedes car - WOULD NOT SHOW -[fast blue] (Negative Exact) POSSIBLE SEARCHES: blue mercedes car - WOULD SHOW blue fast mercedes car - WOULD SHOW mercedes fast car - WOULD SHOW car blue mercedes fast - WOULD SHOW fast blue - WOULD NOT SHOW blue fast - WOULD SHOW fast blue mercedes car - WOULD SHOW Note that we do not expand to synonyms, singular or plural, and other variations as in the case of expanded broad match. So, the negative keyword "Air" wouldn't block the term "Airbnb" since it is one word, but would block the phrase "Air Mattress" because it contains the word "Air". I hope this helps

Will Google penalize a text ad if the display URL goes nowhere?
Just to be clear, when you say display and destination urls need to match -- you're referring to the domain correct? There is no rule that says display URLs & Destination URLs need to be the same other than the domain. For instance, I have made ads that have the following display URLS: Thing.Domain.com/KeyWord-Thing domain.com/Keyword domain.com/Thing.Keyword.Stuff for URLS that looked like this:: domain.com/20141231/31/nerwal-things/keyword-never-in-the-url domain.com/stuff/cart/keyword whyasubdomain.domain.com So there is definitely no correlation on the Google side about keeping display URLs and Destination URLs the same beyond domain.com Also, as far as QS goes -- Google wants you to have the best CTR you can get and suggests regularly to try testing different display URL sequences and words with each adgroup (assuming you have very well segmented adgroups). So yes, your Display URL will impact your QS, so test some changes

Question regarding Google Adwords?
Do you have 1300 landing pages? If you don't why not go on the basis of landing pages as that is already the underlying site logic? You could then experiment with a subset of landing pages to see if subsetting them into different ad groups works better or not.
