I wouldn't advise creating any hrefs that go to a 3rd party site. To me, that is like surrendering your web content and being okay with NOT ranking for that content in Mexico. Depending on the number of potential affiliates you have there, that may be okay.

If you do choose to set the href as Flintel, then you'll essentially be helping with their pagerank. The link love doesn't appear mutual, though. Flintel has a handful of outbound links to your site but does not actually mention "Teletrac" by name on their site (in Chrome, "site:flintel.com "teletrac""). They have your logo paired with their logo in an image but that's it. I don't see any alt text that references Teletrac either.

We're dealing with this same issue where a Russian website has basically created a clone of our US client's site. Even reminding the Russian company that they are infringing on copyright and lowering pagerank of both our sites has not had any effect. Since the affiliate won't rework their content to be unique, it's up to our client to create new, unique content on their own site.

We've been dealing with the same thing so we tested our own IP address to see what came up. We were surprised that it gave our location as miles away. Right city but wrong neighborhood.

Before using all the content from the site, I'd suggest that you run it through a plagiarism checker. Many turnkey sites use the same content in addition to using the same photos in their templates. That could be part of the reason for the poor performance of the existing site. If it's already duplicated content, then you're better off re-writing those pages from scratch.

I'd add a couple questions to what's already been said.

1. Will I be able to see the campaign events through my own Google Analytics account?

2. If so, will you be setting up campaign goals with GA for me or is that something I have to track myself?

3. What types of recommendations will you be making to improve the campaign?

One thing to add, I'd suggest that you set up the Google Tag Manager account and provide access to the agency. That way, you'll be able to have one Google code that addresses Google Analytics and GTM on your site. You'll also retain the historic information from the account if the relationship with the agency ends.

In addition to all that's been said, reviews for your store is a great way to get inbound links.

We have a user interested in having a WordPress 3.5.1 blog on their own existing, robust site. There is a blog module available in the CMS but the user feels more familiar with WordPress.

It will be set up at the root as a subdirectory. Based on the URL structure, Google should see the WordPress blog and the user's website as the same website. (www.website.com/wordpress). There will not be a 301 needed.

Does using the Wordpress module impact rankings? We've understood that Google doesn't care for Wordpress because 99% of spammers use it... is that only if it is hosted on WordPress.com?

Also, are there any other reasons that our user should use/avoid WordPress?
