Wanting to see when a user exists form site and its jopurney while on site please
Hello, Moz does not report this kind of information. You need some code on each page that tracks the users sessions. Google Anaylatics does this, but there are other sites out there that can do it as well. Hope this helps, Don

Returning customers segmentation
Hi Alex, This would depend on how you create your segments. If you go with session based then it will only show users/sessions that have completed multiple goals within the given time frame. If you make your segmentation user based then it will show you users who have completed multiple goals (even if it was outside of the specified time frame) that have had a session during within the specified time frame. Try looking at the same date range with both a user based and a session based segmentation for multiple goal completions. You should notice that when adjust your segmentation from user to session based that the number of sessions/goal completions changes. Keep in mind that unless you are using a unique user id based segmentation that these views will be based on the default GA definition of a 'user' which takes into consideration unique browser/device and can potentially count the same user twice. Hope this helps, let us know how it goes!

Different SERPs positions UK - Ireland
Even though you don't have any geo-targeted sections, there are other indications on your site that let them know you are targeting Ireland and Google might be optimizing for that. With that said, how are you checking these rankings? Do these keywords send you large amounts of traffic? Check Search Console. Are you having an issue getting UK traffic (North Ireland)? Are you worried about UK traffic due to North Ireland? I am worried that what you are seeing is due to your own search history and settings and/or Google seeing the same search a few times and testing out different results. There might also be different competition in the Northern Ireland market. There is a ton that could explain this, but alas, as with most things SEO, it's hard to pinpoint.

Google web master tool - stats
Hi there. ok, Large mount of crawled pages doesn't mean that every single page has been fully downloaded NOT from cache. If that would be happening, Google would bankrupt in two days. Most likely Google checks the difference in cached and live page and updates the information, rather than downloading the whole thing every time it crawls a page. That's why there is a "fetch as Google" and limit on crawl pages. It would depend on which pages those are. If it's one of main pages (like index or main service) - it'd be pretty bad. If it's a page, buried under thousands of other pages, then no, it wouldn't be a problem, however, when google does get to that page, you cut yourself that crawl, since Google bots has limited resources per domain. Basically, you'd be wasting bots resources on that non-responsive page. I'd recommend either fixing it or deleting that page if it's not important. Cheers.

In a pickle. SEO for Personal Brand, Book or Keywords?
Thanks so much for the response, Kane. She is very particular in the content placed on her website. I didn't work with her on her website or her existing pages, navigation, and content, so I'm coming in fresh and from what I know, she was tough to deal with on the content portions. Adding more pages about her services probably isn't realistic as she doesn't dive into her "services" on the website nor does she want to. She has this false sense that her clients KNOW what she does and will search for her "method". Yet, when you Google her "method", nothing shows. This led me to talk with her about and be very honest with her, that her name, her method and her book need to be the focal point. So, when people do hear about her, and then Google her, they will get the bigger picture vs just searching for a service keyword and her showing up. Another challenge is, her budget is low. It will increase, but have to prove it works. I explained this is a limiting factor, but will see where it goes. We will focus on blog articles, a few press releases, a couple SlideShare presentations about her method and book outline and wish we could do videos, but she will never do a video, but she enjoys and does do speaking engagements. We also discussed getting her to do more podcast type interviews and try to get her in front of bloggers or podcasters as she speaks very well and would be comfortable doing that. This will make for an interesting case study if it all works out the way I want it to. One thing I won't allow is for it to ruin or soil my reputation or our mutual brand consultant's image. Thanks again, Kane! I do appreciate your input. - Patrick

Bounce Rate Spike Overnight - Did anyone else notice this?
Like Jono mentioned, check your referral traffic. I would recommend going into your analytics account, and segmenting by all sessions/organic/referral/direct to really see what is causing the high bounce rate. If it's referral traffic it's most likely referral spam. There are some good tools out there and filters to help get rid of that garbage and true up your numbers a bit more.

Is there a tool that will find a string from the source code from a list of URLs?
Cheers Dirk Didn't know Screaming Frog could do that. Works perfectly! Screaming Frog is just the gift that keeps on giving

Google search operator "site:" show different result.
Hi Raj, The [site:] operator returns an estimated count of the number of indexed pages for the domain.Basically, Google displays a small percentage of the actual data because they believe it's not fair for spammers and competitors to reverse engineer someone's ranking. To get better results try open site explorer (https://moz.com/researchtools/ose/). Hope this helps. Thanks

Best Way To Estimate Size Of Customer Base?
Tough question, but each category usually has a niche data provider for a field. ie a Data company that is a specialists in shopping centre traffic for Landlords. Am based in Australia, and for a generalist our clients use a http://www.experian.com.au/ That said there is likely a niche data analyst type company particular to your area. Hope that assists.

Search Analytics update in Google Webmasters Tools? Where can we find search queries bringing traffic to website?
For what it is worth, I'm in the US and seeing the 999 limit on all my accounts and domains. So, I guess that means the clock is ticking and if you don't have that limit yet, then you better get downloading fast!

Google Panda 4.2 Is Here
Just got my weekly MOZ report and see a huge drop in Google SERP for a ton of my keywords. I see similar drops for the competitors I am tracking as well though. I don't know if this is a MOZ reporting issue or if there was that big of a shakeup in the keyword rankings across the board. I have noticed bigger changes in keyword impressions/position in Google Webmaster Tools this week, so maybe the 4.2 update is the cause. I am in the real estate industry by the way.

International Traffic on Analytics - Is this normal?
Not that I know of! I think our customer is just a bit cautious that they aren't getting relevant traffic to their site. I can't see why Google would think our website is relevant to anyone outside of the UK but I am finding it hard to see what search terms international visitors would be using. Any tips on this?

Direct 100+ URLs to our sister site?
I understand your concern--sometimes you don't want to mess with things that are working. But if it is clear to you that the sites need to be separate, then they need to be separate. When you make a change like this, you will most likely see an impact on search, as Google tries to figure out what is what. Ultimately, the pages will do best on the site that is the most relevant.

HUGE spike in Google Analytics Traffic
I am in the same boat as you Lauren. What I am struggling to come to terms with is that when looking at the user flow report, there is a lot of movement on the site internally to and from this page indicating that this is not a spam bot. I tried isolating many factors but arrived at a loss. There was one thing I checked which helped me see that the data may indeed be skewed. View these two reports and tell me if they are showing the same data: Behaviour > Site Content > All pages (primary dimension of page) Behaviour > Site Content > All pages (primary dimension of page title) Those two reports give me very different results. page report shows the massive spike while page title is more realistic. I am also looking for a possible explanation to this. Posted up on Google forums too, waiting to see if anyone can help - https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/analytics/stvN44gwYU4;context-place=forum/analytics

Skewed results in Google
Hi there Yes, this is called Google Personalized Search - you can learn more about it from this great Whiteboard Friday. If you want to get a more beneficial look at your rankings, I would suggest checking out Startpage or taking a look at your average position in Webmaster Tools - it's a more aggregated ranking metric in WMT as it combines multiple factors and averages your positions for that keyword/query. Also, Moz tracks keywords for you and updates you weekly. Hope this helps! Good luck!

I changed my home title and meta description but on google, i still see the old title and meta description. Whats the problem here?
We never know exactly why Google makes the determinations it does. Maybe your competitor's site is better optimized for luxury cars, or maybe it has to do with links to the page. SEO is always done in a bit of a black box...

Does anyone know of a predictive demographics software that helps a website predict its audience based on cookies, or whatever info it has?
Hi Sabilah! I am not really aware of any tools like that at the most, although I definitely agrees with To the Quantcast is definitely a good fit. My Company is do some research right on ow to predict neuro-linguistic patterns in certain specific target audiences and demographics but we still a long ways off from being able to built what you're looking for here. So far now, I'd stick with Quantcast
