Pages that were ranking now are not?
How can you check if your site is in the google index and how many pages of the site have been indexed?

Multiple city network
Well, as with many things, there is a time and a place. Buddypress has very, very good uses. As far as mini sites the time was long ago! KW rich urls can be great but, internet users are getting savvy and they don't do as well as they used to for search or click through rates. Wish you the best!

Rebuilding a site with pre-existing high authority subdomains
Hi Robert, Thanks for the help! I think we have a lot of deep links to specific city pages. I am concerned about losing that juice, but I guess the 301's will mitigate that somewhat. The site isn't built in frames. I don't think people have many pages bookmarked. I'm not 100% sure I fully understand your solution, but I'm still left feeling that I don't have a solid idea of which direction to go. Best, ~jon

Keyword as domain- worth buying it?
Nick have given a good answer. Remember exact match domains only help you for that keyword and are beatable. in my experience, exact match advantage is big, in a non competitive neighbourhood but when you have a high competitive neighbourhood, that advantage is not so great. If you had 10 dollars and I had 5, you would be much better of then me, but if I had 1 million and you had 1 million and 5, then that extra 5 is not such a big deal

Duplicate URL home page
User ing the slash tool, is a good thing, but if you do use it then you need to make sure thet all your internal links point to the slash version of the URL. or you will get un-necessary redirects each one leaking link juice. It would seem that you have not down this for the crawler to find both versions of teh urls. If you use the IIS7 tool, you should not get this warning anyhow as when the crawler found the wrong version it would of been 301 redirected to teh correct version. go back into IIS, clickon the rule and look to see that it is in fact doing a 301 redirect, see redirect type near bottom of dialog box. or you can look in web.config cna compair it to the example here http://thatsit.com.au/seo/tutorials/how-to-fix-canonical-issues-involving-the-trailing-slash

How to gain more conversions through my website
Hi Bob, here's some resources to get you started! BloggerLinkUp My Blog Guest This YouMOz article has some ideas: 15 Smart Ways to Find Guest Posting Opportunities You can search google for blogs that cover the same topics as your site that accept guest posts using queries like: finance coaching blog "guest post" There's more about using google to find guest blogging opportunities here: 3 Smart Google Search Tips to Hunt for Guest Post Opportunities You could try searching twitter. A great way to do this is to use followerwonk to search people's bios. You could do searches like: nlp coach blog Take a look at what others are doing, see if they have their own blogs that might accept guest posts or even if they don't you may be able to find out where they are guest posting. Think about where your potential audience are going to hang-out too. If you can get guest posts infront of them and get some direct qualified referral traffic to you site then this can be even better. You may find that people arriving through this channel convert better. Remember that guest blogging isn't just about getting those backlinks. It's a great way to build your reputation/authority and position yourself in your chosen niche. Again, hope this helps.

Looking for an opinion on Buildmyrank.com
I may be one of the few here on the moz that actually use BMR. I will probably be looked down upon by the moz community but I will give you my honest opinion. BMR requires unique content. Yes, it only requires 150 words to get a link AND you can control the anchor text, but what is twitter? Twitter is a great example of a way that you can use a service for good or evil. I try to create every BMR article like it is a real article going to be read by an actual person (though I am aware it probably won't be). I will be the first to admit that people abuse BMR, just like they abuse twitter. Spamming isn't a tool, it is a strategy. All that being said, BMR is expensive, time consuming and NOT an anchor in any realistic strategy. If you are thinking more than 25% (random number I pulled from thin air) of your time and/or links are going to be spent using BMR, I wouldn't bother. The cost is another issue. I am debating whether it is really worth the money. I like using the service along side other more "white hat" techniques but it really can be expensive both in time and in money. It would probably take you 30min to an hour to write 5 BMR posts. Sure you can control the anchor text and you could even get a high PR from the links, but you would probably be better off spending that time getting a guest post. You still control the anchor (in most cases) and you can even control the PR (BMR randomly assigns you). PLUS if you are guest posting you are getting traffic from it and people are actually seeing your stuff. 5 BMR posts would be 750 words, that could also just be one awesome post with links being built off your post while you sleep! In summary (because I am ranting), I use it, but never at the cost of other link building strategies like guest posting or just lurking my competition and finding out how they got their links. Stay away from UAW, AMR, Scrapebox Blasts, SeNukeX, Bookmarking Demon etc. They are ridiculously expensive, work only in super low competition keywords (which you could rank for faster using guest posting or manual article submissions) and nowadays they only work to strengthen link wheels (which is another hot topic of debate around the forums). So, hopefully I didn't confuse you too badly, but if you have any questions about BMR the service itself let me know.

Am I Stuffing Internal Anchor Text?
If you have your sitemap.xml and have submitted it to both Google and Bing, then you should be fine.

Changing my url name? Should I do it?
I agree, it would almost certainly make a difference, but using a 301 redirect is key. Changing the URL and adding a redirect should take no time at all, but may web companies have a minimum charge period.

Domain Links or SubDomain Links, which is better?
In Wordpress you don't have catalogues except e.g. catalogues on servr like "/wp-content/uploads/....", only posts. Some type of specific posts functions as pages. A little bit different is with pages which are created by dynamic query like tag, category, archives. But in the end they are also posts with one specific url. I'm linking with "/" but google indexed pages reported to index with or without "/" on the same way.

Redirect between domains: any real number on how much link juice is lost?
How you phrased your question, I thought you were considering only moving pages that didn't have any backlinks, not the entire subfolder. You want to keep your URLs consistent, and it's pretty easy to build 301 redirects around an entire subfolder.

Is it possible to Spoof Analytics to give false Unique Visitor Data for Site A to Site B
You might be better with a server side tracker like http://awstats.sourceforge.net/ The answer from Mat probably has the best logic, but the only problem is are you legally responsible for mitigating the possibility of fraud? I would make sure you add this to the contract, as I am not sure you are going to be able to defeat a proxy or spoofer, just in case the referrer gets smart and decides to work the system. An anti fraud system can be put into place, but LOL I am not sure you will have the access to the multi million dollar fraud monitoring tools that Google does, that are contstantly updated and algorithmically and systematically monitor as well as have auditors who manually do random checks...

Site comparison - what is wrong with me?
Thanks for your great suggestions. Although BC has 6000 + pages the vast majority seem to be pdf's of their parts catalog. with no pr at all. Nether one of BC or PSB have many links back with anchor text as "Speakers" the vast majority are the company names: <a class="clickable title link-pivot" title="See top linking pages that use this anchor text">b c speakers</a> - 250+ PSB Speakers - 3000+ Do you think that google is seeing "psb speakers" as the company name and ignoring "speakers" as a relevant term?
