Freshness Index?
It's typical for new websites, i have few case's that new website on low competition keywords rank very well for few weeks and then boom! Can't see them in first 100. Bonus at the start I would do some basic link building, few directories(only high quality), few links from social network and it should help. This can also help you: http://www.seomoz.org/directories

Server requests: 302 followed by a 200
So why is the rewrite not an issue? Google sees the GET /nl/nl/process?Someparameter1=1&Someparameter2=2, never mind the 302 (which is a very obvious issue). Then it sees the GET /nl/nl/SomeOtherPage.cms To Googlebot it might as well be a meta redirect, which is an issue, as this will not pass pagerank. Server response is not different from a meta redirect.... Or should I interprete the last GET in some other way? I agree on the .cms

Is this considered as a SEO Cloaking?
I think it depends on motive and scale. If your intention was to show Google keywords that aren't on the page the user sees then that's not good. But if it's an honest mistake with zero intention to improve SEO then it's not a big deal.

Duplicate Content
I rent the website from Homes.com. I don't even have access to the index.php file. it's a content management system in the back end. I can change a few meta tags etc... All I know is that SEOMOZ says I have tons of duplicate content. I used to be number one on google for years, and I'm not now \

Explaining 301 redirects instead of 302
Keri, the problem with this analogy is that it reinforces the concept of a fallback or safety net. Who wouldn't feel better going off to college knowing that if by some chance it didn't work out, you'd still have Mom & Dad keeping your nice warm bed and comfy room waiting for you. That's exactly the unfortunate attitude FreshFire is up against - the site owners think it's more valuable to keep that fallback in place than to fully commit to the new site. Which is why I suggested that maybe there's more to the issue than just "not getting it". Paul

Preferred domain can't set in Web master Tool
Webmaster Tools considers the www and non-www versions of your website to be 2 different sites, Chandana. What that error is telling you is that you can't use your xxxxxtours.com account to set the www version until you've proven you're also verified for the Webmaster Tools account for the www version. So in your Webmaster Tools main page, click the big red button for Create Site and then create a new site for www.xxxtours.com as well. Once you've verified it, you'll be able to set www as the preferred domain in both sites' configuration. I know it seems strange, but GWT considers each of those to be two totally separate sites, so you have to prove you have authority for both before you can use one to point to the other. Paul

Redirects Going to the Wrong Place
I take it you're using Apache? Have you already looking at these tutorials? http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/howto/htaccess.html http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/misc/rewriteguide.html In addition even if the link is 301d properly, if you are redirecting to a completely new domain that baby domain has to be evaluated by Google all over again. So you'll go through the sandbox period, it's going to take a bit to get Google to trust your new domain as it did the old one.

Old page redirection method ?
In general the technical correct way to tell Search Engines a page no longer exist is to give a 410 response code. REF: http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec10.html The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address. This status code is commonly used when the server does not wish to reveal exactly why the request has been refused, or when no other response is applicable. If the page has no seo value, or user value then a 410 would be preferred. As Robert pointed out, if the old url has a valid new url then you should 301 redirect it to the new location. If the page does have SEO value (like good backlinks, high serp ratings for strong keywords), but no new matching page, you should do one of two things: 1. Create the page 2. 301 it to the nearest possible match Hope that helps, Don

Purpose of a Blog in a website
To expand on #2, people are more likely to share and link to content that is informative, amusing, and interesting. If your website is, say, an e-commerce website for plungers, it may be difficult to have informative, amusing, interesting content on the main part of your website. A blog is a great place for "linkbait," content that is created to attract attention and be shared. So a plunger shop's blog might have a post about the 8 most hilarious toilet explosions in history. As people link to this post, this builds the domain authority. Also, if you have links to your homepage, category pages, and even product pages in the post, pagerank will trickle there, too.

First eCommerce site, any tips on how to increase rankings would be appreciated.
Yes, we fixed though problems. It was due to how our CMS handles finding pages in the Web Config. It was setup to reply basically that it looked for the page and nothing came back, rather than 404'ing. That's fixed now

Domain authority enhancement
Hi Benver; Domain Authority isnt a factor that you could pay attention "for 2 weeks", since domain authority is a long term game. In Fact, the index data that shows your domain authority is refreshed almost monthly, so its really a nonsense to center your activity in that domain for that amount of time. Just reconsider your timeplan, and continue creating good backlinks without the intention "to increase domain authority in 2 weeks!" Kind regards

Home Page Link Juice Dilution
You didn't say how the 700+ guides are structured ? Are they organised into categories ? Answer: These guides are organized into 30 different categories. How does a visitor get from the homepage to these pages? Answer: The visitor gets to these pages from the home page via a main category link in the footer of the website. Unfortunately, there is not an option for placing these links higher up in the page. Are they interlinked ? Answer: Yes I hope these answers were helpful in some way. Can you please update me on you thoughts of how I can increase traffic. Additionally, do you think that having 10,000 live profiles could potentially dilute the link juice in another way?

Keyword Question: How to Target my Niche
Sorry for the very late response, I was traveling and busy in office once I got back, thanks to penguins, pandas and the rest of the zoo. To answer the second part of your question the keywords need to be revised accordingly. I would focus on NLP therapy, NLP Practitioner, NLP life coaching as primary seed keywords. For MS related keywords it would be best to focus on lifestyle for MS keywords. And yes, the title goes well with your service, though its longer than 65 characters.

Using a rel canonical for CMS
If it's just a booking page and you have separate pages for the properties themselves, I think you could probably canonical the "book-hotel.php" page. I'm hestitant to say for sure, without seeing the actual site, but it sounds like the booking pages are low-value, from a search perspective (i.e. they're important for users, but don't add value to search visitors). For the property pages, unique titles are important. Ideally, you can generate them from your database, but how to do that is completely dependent on your platform/CMS.

Sitelinks (breadcrumbs) in SERPs
There's no ideal solution here, but I think you may have to try it, just to focus the ranking power and try to sort out what's going on.
