Do I need to do a 301, as well as adding re-write rules on Apache
Eric's answer was perfect. After launch, I also do a site:nameofdomain.com and click on a random sampling of links to make sure the rules work perfectl (this is more useful if the page name changes). Good luck!

72KB CSS code directly in the page header (not in external CSS file). Done for faster "above the fold" loading. Any problem with this?
thanks Kristen. Good article. We will try to identify now what kind of CSS is absolutely necessary to put inline. I think the google apache module should help us to idntify this.

Splitting down pages
Yeah, perhaps they will all naturally rank better for each term. Thats not to say they are not ranking well now I was just in the process of optimising everything I possibly can. Thanks.

Ecommerce SEO: Title Tags for pagination
As long as rel prev/next is correct, and each page canonicals to itself (see second to last bullet on this page), then I think those title tag formats look good. Aside from getting rid of the Moz errors, it sends a stronger pagination signal to Google, and may be useful to the user.

Sitemap Migration - Google Guidelines
Hi there! I believe that Google is simply recommending that you make sure to have the new URL map, the old URL map, and a list of all your inbound links. Looks like how they're meant to be used comes up in the next steps. For example, the next page includes these steps (which I have completely removed from their contexts, so make sure to do things in the order Google outlines): On the destination site, submit the two sitemaps you prepared previously containing the old and new URLs. This helps our crawlers discover the redirects from the old URLs to the new URLs, and facilitates the site move. and External links: Try to contact the sites in the saved list of sites linking to your current content, asking them to update their links to your new site. The old and new sitemaps will be used by Google when first indexing your old site, and the list of external links is there to help you maintain your link profile. Does that make sense?

Im scoring 100% in the page optimization, wht else I need to do, because I rank 7-12 in search results
Agreed on DA, though I disagree that it's _ever _a good idea to purchase links. In addition to building some high-quality links, you may also want to run a Full SERP Report in the Keyord Difficulty tool. It can be helpful when deciding where to focus next. There's a video on using it here: https://moz.com/academy/competition-keyword-analysis

Website Indexing Issues - Search Bots will only crawl Homepage of Website, Help!
Hi Will, It'd be impossible to find a solution to the problem without having the domain. If you want to message me the URL, I can take a quick look for ya. A lack of either of those files shouldn't create any crawl issues. Setting up those files won't fix your problem, but you should add them both anyway.

CcTLDs vs folders
Hi Jacob, Use subfolders. Remember to use the hreflag tag, inclufing the country code. If you have the ccTLD domains, redirect them to the subfolder. For example: If you have yoursite.co.uk point it to yoursite.com/uk/ Also, remember to add every subfolder to Google Search Console (Google Web Masters Tools) and declare for each one the country that is itended to. Hope it helps. GR.

Do I need to use a trailing slash to homepage in canonical and hreflang?
Hi there, Your intention is that https://www.mysite.com be the principal page. So you've done everything just fine. Even more, you've said that have used consistenly the https://www.mysite.com, that's fine in my opinion. Hope it helps. GR

Does google credit links from iFrames or created by Javascript, if so, is one more powerful than the other?
Yeah, what you say is what i expected for iframes. It makes sense that links inside the iframe would be considered internal links within the iframe provider's domain. As the entire contents of that iframe is within the shadow dom of that provider's domain. I also just found this article: https://moz.com/ugc/can-google-really-access-content-in-javascript-really Which seems to indicate that google would crawl and recognize something like: $('#3rd-party-content').append(''); BUT only if the javascript that creates these links actually lives on the same domain i.e. not targetdomain.com! Thanks for your help!

Only The Google Plus URL Appearing In Organic Search (No Images or Info)
Hi there. Well, there is no way to make Google display exactly what you want, but, what you might need to look into is the schema markup for your knowledge graph - https://developers.google.com/structured-data/customize/overview Also, make sure you have image optimization on the website (alt tags, titles etc), as well as images on G+ account - it seems that that's where knowledge graph images are being pulled from. Also you need to make sure that everything on your google my business account is properly setup. And, finally, you can call google and ask them to look if there is anything wrong going on. Other than that - it's the matter of time. Hope this helps.

Url design for automobile parts
It's definitely not considered keyword stuffing but if you prefer a shorter URL then use the second option.

Over 30,000 pages but only 100 get traffic... can I kill the others?
Not only can you but you should. Pruning non-performing pages that you don't intend to rework and get ranking is very useful. I would definitely 301 the pages though, even if you 301 them all to the homepage (not really recommended if there's any better option.) Get a full site crawl with Screaming Frog, your sitemap or some other tool, import to Excel, add a column for your new URLs (homepage or other) and then just concatenate them into a long list of 301s. Or do some wildcard magic and make it simpler. Depends on the url structures for that, I suppose. But yes, I would definitely redirect and get rid of the tens of thousands of non-useful pages. It should actually help your other 100 as well.

Screaming Frog returning both HTTP and HTTPS results...
No problem! I'm not too familiar with secure migrations in WP, but I bet there is some kind of plugin for that.
