Content Update
It will not have any real effect other than changing your on page SEO. If the dates are changed, and content is updated with a good portion of information, the post may get ranked higher just because of freshness. Google loves fresh content and fresher content usually rank better but fall a little below later on. What you may try is making a new post with a link referring to the old post. See if that works for you and if not you can always update the content on the original post...which is what I would do. Keeping content updated with changes is a good way for your users/readers, not just for SEO Good content and updated content can have others point back to your site, i.e. "hey check this page out, they update this information quite often!".

Anyone knows h1, h2, h3..h6 plugin for wordpress?
WordPress H tags are usually built into themes, so it is probably not that important. H1 is already not as relevant as it use to be, but still good to have. H2-HX, is not really that important. As mentioned a lot of themes and templates have these tags built in, and if you want to check, just view source on a page. Or you can use SEOmoz On-Page crawl.

What are all those meta name= and link rel= on the cnn home page source?
Thanks a lot guys. This is great. The reason we use use keyword tags is that it is still a ranking factor for Bing and Yahoo. (This is true right?)

DMCA Complaint to Google
It was manual - mainly with my FAQ pages, sizing guide, etc. I still have loads of duplicate with TERMS and CONDITIONS and PRIVACY POLICY. Is this something to block in robots.txt?

Is reported duplication on the pages or their canonical pages?
This is good news sugar-coating bad news Thanks!

Do a lot of related articles in lower subfolders, boost higher level subfolder keywords?
Thanks again for your input, The reason this question arrose was because i was thinking of a news structure from a users perspective and my collgeague from a technical standpoint. Also he showed me how a friend of his got to the first page in the serps simply by moving a lot of related content under a subfolder. This i found hard to believe, that simply putting in content under a subfolder would make the higher subfolder automatically rank higher. Up to 5 years ago i thought sites rank well because they write a lot of articles, then i in 2007 i started reading up and focussing on SEO and understood that its not about quantity but quality and hierarchy and that really got me interested in SEO. So i thought a 'traditional' news category like www.example.com/news/ with related articles (inter)linking to related subfolder landing pages would be a logical experience for the user and thus for bots. But 'sparring' with my colleague who is imo a very good programmer, made me second guess myself and the situation, and thus i ended up asking the great seomoz community :). So thanks again for the input and will probably have the articles both under www.example.com/news/topic-article1/ and under www.example.com/topic/news/opic-article1/ (with a canonical tag on it). Also i have never thought about the concequences for CTR in the SERPS using the dates in the url's. Thats a very valid point and wil have to take a look at how 'evergreen' the written news articles are. Comming to think of it I also unconsciously ávoid' sites with urls showing old dates when searching for something specific. I even goes as fas as changing the date range in search settings. I've added a video for you enjoyment. It's the one and only SEO Rapper from way back when... enjoy a0qMe7Z3EYg

Multiple domains vs single domain vs subdomains ?
I just posted this in another thread but believe that it applies here as well.... ======================================== Let me just call this... "logical speculation".... If you chop a domain's content in half and place it on two different websites, you have also just chopped all of the links, likes, mentions, etc in half. If you do that you should expect every ranking everywhere to drop - because you now have less domain authority - you cut it in half. ========================================

H1 tags in WordPress - could someone clarify this please?
Get rid of your second h1 tag. A page should only have one. You are right, if your plugin is not picking it up then it's a problem with the plugin. I think it's a bit harsh to say that h1's have minimal impact. If you were to have a page with just a h1 title then it's not going to do much, but it's all about context. Does your url relate to your h1, does your h1 relate to the content on the page, do your subsequent h tags ( h2, h3, etc) relate to the surrounding text. It is true that h1 tags do not have as much weight as they once had, but just because Google et al have downgraded the importance a bit does not make h1 tags irrelevant. Aside from search engines, h1 tags are an important part of page structure for your users (the visitors that really count). Don't forget about users with disabilities too.

Anyone have time to tell me his opinion?
Hi Matt, No is not harsh at all. Ok, I will give you some explanations. First of all thank you for your time. The site was in Greek and I deleted it before few days, thats why are all this urls in Google. Anyway, after this review of yours I will just throw it and I will make a new one. Anyway wasn't marketed somewhere except Cyprus and Greece. Yes I swiped the graphic from the post , but before I get it I check in Google images and was also in other sites. So I took the courage to add it also. So I will just create my own graphics from now on to avoid any similar situation. About my English. Yes maybe are not Good, but in the end of the day I am not content writer. English I learn watching TV and reading the subtitles. Because I work from 12 years until 22 years in constructions. You know I didn't have the time to get educated. I'm sorry. The solution, is very simple. I will just hire somebody to write everything for me from now on. Selling services in English can be very simple resolved too. How? By opening a virtual office in my desired city and just hiring somebody to represent me. I think I resolve everything? Is something more? Thanks again

How much copy should there be on an e-commerce category page?
I agree 100% with MagicDude. After watching Everett Sizemore's E-commerce webinar I tried an experiment. We had a huge block of SEO copy on our home page. We were #2 in Google for our most important keyword. I removed the copy and put it into the blog instead. We dropped to #4 in Google. I took the copy back out of the blog and returned it to the home page. Hopefully, we will recover the two spots we lost when I removed it. I know people are saying this doesn't work. Maybe it's the quality of the writing that's the problem. We go to great lengths to make sure that any copy we include for SEO purposes reads well and is of some use to visitors.

Different Title Tag and Page Headline
Thanks for the reply. Both answers show that there is no harm here and potentially a lot of benefits.

Implementation of Rich Text Snippets on a e-commerce site
I am struggling with all of this myself. One thing I actually did right was implement the image tag to display our brand logo for the home page and category page. Yes this works. Take a look at our home page or one of our Category pages in the testing tool: http://www.celebratecommunion.com/prefilled-communion-cups.html Of course, Google isn't doing anything with this information yet, so it (our logo) doesn't yet appear in SERPs. Unfortunately, it's pulling the brand logo instead of the product thumbnail image on our product pages. If you figure out how to achieve that, let me know!

Sitemap for webshop?
My thoughts exactly, never heard of any bad effects of having a sitemap if you don't mind your pages getting indexed. But glad to hear it wasn't just me who had missed a chapter in the big book of SEO.

Blog.mysite.com or mysite.com/blog?
From everything I've read, I agree that your safest bet is to go with the subfolder.
