It is NOW time to invest in SEO consultant, How/ Where can i find a good one???
You need to find people who have specialties - First decide what area to focus on - onsite , link building , viral content , social media marketing, technical audits, - Then find experts in that area and have them help you. Or you may just need a jack of all trades (master of none) to point you in the direction to start.

Index.php getting Duplicate page content.
Add a permanent 301 redirect from your /index page and point to your root domain (i.e. non /index pages). - You need to do the redirect over canonical because it's a duplicate page/URL rather than a page with blocks of similar content. Update all mentions within your website that link to the /index page so that they only link to the non /index page. With CMS's you'll need to look where things get automatically added, like links in sitemap, footer, breadcrumbs, the 'home' link and sub-navigation.You may need a developer to remove them if not accessible via the CMS. Then your duplicate content issues will be gone.

Site Maps / Robots.txt etc
Ahh I see thanks so much for your reply - is it best to get an XML site map rather than the one I have? Thanks, Abi

Temporary redirect - help!
I went through this exact issue. The way to fix it is to add a rel="nofollow" tag to the link that adds the item to the cart. This will prevent the search bot from indexing or wasting resources on the checkout pages that are dynamically populated.

How often should ecommerce category and product descriptions be rewritten?
Hi Brian, I am an in-house SEO for two different companies. One is a small e-commerce company with about 200 SKUs and one is a larger e-commerce company with 4,000 SKUs. The larger one has been in business for 40 years. Because of the nature of our business many of our products change frequently. Here's what I have to say about changing content, just for the sake of changing content. First of all, lose the "250 words" each idea. Forget about the word count and just write copy that's amazing and engaging, if at all possible. Now, I understand that for something like a 15-foot Rapco XLR microphone cable, writing captivating content could be a bit of a challenge. And frankly, do you really need 250 words to describe a 15-foot Rapco XLR cable? I think not. Freshening up your content is a great idea. But, I have another suggestion. What if instead, you start a blog if you don't have one, and begin talking about the products (with links back to the product pages) that you are most passionate about? Sure. Freshen up your content. Make it more accurate. Fix the broken links. Fix the typos. (I can guarantee you if you've got a large site you have plenty of both). Write better title tags and more compelling meta descriptions. These are things that never stop. This is something that should always be an ongoing project. That's the thing with SEO. I laugh when people say they've "SEO'd" their site...as if it's like putting a new roof on your house or something. It's not something you do once every 10-15 years. It's something that's a constant, ongoing process. I know, this wasn't a cut and dried answer. But, I do hope it helps a little Dana

Should I hide the blog post pages that are automatically built in WordPress?
Hi Mike In general, I will always "noindex subpages of archives" which is a setting you can check off with the Yoast SEO Plugin. Anything with a /page/2/ or /page/3/ etc is a "subpage" and checking off that setting in Yoast will noindex them, which is the best thing to do. You can see the WordPress SEO post I did on Moz for more WP stuff. -Dan

Should "contact" and "Privacy Policy" pages be no-followed?
I'd just leave those links be. Google knows what contact and privacy policies look like. Nofollows don't conserve more link juice for other pages that page links to, it just prevents it from passing to the pages you nofollow the link to.

How google handle with Title when is invisible on the page?
H1 is the main tag, don't use it more than once. Use the H2 tag for subcategory info. Don't worry about bold or italic and order is not really important for the h2, h3 tags. I would just try and get the main keyword in the H1 tag as high up in the page code as possible, and i would try to leave other code out of the H1 tag like hyperlinks or styling code, just the main keyword phrase.

Will Google penalize my website if I hide the H1 tag?
Thank You Irving and Ricky ! My WordPress Premium Theme has inside an article - shows the title as H1 and if we add the h2 tag it will show in the SEOMoz plugin. But in the homepage My H1 is not found and every time, i update the blog with the new article - the first article is mentioned as H2. So in Homepage, Changing the H2 title frequently will it have some problem ?

Duplication issue on my website
all you have to do is. a) list the ?gallery parameter in WMT url parameter handling. you can also block in in your robots.txt from being crawled. This is a definite duplicate content issue, but Google will usually get it right on their own and omit these results in search. Still needs to be fixed though.

Questions About My Report
No, I think you're missing the point of the site. It has nothing to do about live blogging games. It is about aggregating articles and putting them in one place. Here is an inspiration in the tech world: http://launch.co/ I obviously have modified my site to include a little more description because of the nature of the articles. The post pages CAN be linked to (link button to right of post's time), but as the main page and readability should be the focus, I didn't included a big title link on the main page. The point is to read everything on that main page and not have to click, unless you want to click to the actual article outside my site. I am using Social Networks but don't want to use them in lieu of the site. And, I'm not using comments at all, so I'm not sure why you're pointing to those links. Anyway, seems like we're not seeing eye to eye, but I appreciate the effort.

Does Commented HTML Code Get Spidered?
Hi Larry, that was a great question. This is why I love SEOMoz.org, there is always something to learn. I had never thought seriously about this question before, as I web developer I just figured it if I commented out html I didn't have to worry about it being crawled. After reviewing the responses I can see there may be a tad more to it then that. Good question, good responses.

Lower case and SEO
Many thanks for your input - and I agree with you with regards to how Google might see the content, and why I asked the question. Google know what content people hang about and browse and are clever enough to know if a 'style' puts people off. So what may be my clients 'visual' comfort zone is probably not the majority of the prospects he is trying to reach. But, if all else fails Marks suggestion is a compromise. Thanks again PH

Should I use www in my url when running On-Page Report Card?
Which is your preferred domain URL: with WWW or without? And do you have your site set up to redirect visitors to the correct one? I'd suggest using whichever is your preferred URL.

Moving content from one site to another
I just want to add onto Takeshi's response. Google's Webmaster Blog has all the answers you need on how the Canonical Tag works. A canonical tag is basically a tag you enter in the HTML to tell Google Bots that you want a page A to be indexed and not page B to avoid duplicate content. http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=139394
