How do I deal with /mobile/ page after responsive re-design?
Yep, there are no pages below /mobile/ so it should be all good. Thanks.

301 redirects cross domains
Hi Charles, Not really, if you make sure that all the pages from site A make their way to either B or C then it won't have a very negative impact on traffic. The most relevant one and the one that's most important. According to the fact that you have more products on B I'd go with that one.

Website gone from PR 2 to PR 0
Just wanted to add that Google announced that page rank will not be updated (Source) and it's been theorized that the last update (Dec 2013) was a mistake. Agree with Andreas that using alternative methods is the way to go. As for the why it could be any number of things from fake PR to Google dropping PR or lost links etc. either way it makes no difference as the metric is superfluous now.

Does uploading a new disavow file wipe out the original?
Yes, it overwrites. Always download the old list and make changes before uploading again.

1000+ links from domain to subdomain - impacting?
If you do that and those links have supported rankings then there could be a traffic loss. Yes, traffic/rankings have gone down so I've been investigating possible over optimisation especially on money terms. If this was client site, I would be tempted to describe Door A, Door B and Door C. Yes, you are not wrong. I like the analogy! Really appreciate your help, EGOL.

SEO Value of Press Releases
Yes, there is. It's not based on old-school SEO value though as much as newer reasoning. Press releases definitely have much more churn than ever - so many sent out by so many companies every day, many of which are junk / very low quality. So any link value you get is going to be at a much lower count than they used to generate, and many will stick around a lot less - shelf life is much shorter. At the same time however, if you opt for the wider distribution options (such as PRWeb's top two options) you're more likely to get at least some decent sites in the mix (and especially if you go with the top tier release option). This is much more valid if the releases you create only contain one or a couple links in the content. And don't opt to include your web site embedded in their iFrame. It's a terrible usability issue, and offers NO value - and most definitely will not be picked up by high end news feeds. The other SEO value comes from the fact that those quality sites that do pick them up and post them do provide not just link value but mentions related to branding. Also be sure to take the time to properly categorize the release in terms of the right industry and regional reach. On a final note, they're most effective when you send them out on a regular basis - not too often, yet no less than three or four times a year. And only when you have something that's truly worthy of a legitimate press release.

Supplementary outsourced link building
Concentrate on getting some unique and high quality content into your site rather than link building at this stage - remember even with link building, you need content for other website owners to want to link back to. Otherwise, the best you can expect are a few non-target website links or no-follow blog posts. Combat the content first Andy
