Onpage SEO before Offpage?
I agree with Matthew. However, I suppose it would depend on what your current site is like. If you can get your google + or facebook campaign rolling now without much effort then go for it, but if you are starting the whole process from the beginning, then on page is where you need to be first.

About url shorterner like ow.ly - does it count?
Proper link shorteners like Ow.ly use 301 redirects to point to the final link destination, so Google counts them pretty much the same as a regular unshortened link. The benefits of a shortened link in Twitter to allow you to include other info in the 140 characters makes them pretty much essential. One other benefit of shortened links is you can include Analytics tracking parameters in them if you're linking back to your own site. That way you can accurately track where your own website traffic is coming from. (Hootsuite Pro lets you set this up to occur automatically.) Even if you're linking to other sites, the click analytics built into the link shorteners can give you some useful info on how many times your links were clicked. So short answer - shortened links don't have an real problems from an SEO perspective and the extra analytics they allow can be very useful.

Subdomain for every us state?
If the domain is has an extremely high authority (80+), I would consider it due to potential to dominate the SERPs by getting the www.web version and state.web version both to rank high. Thanks, the domains authority is 43, it is not so high. _Yes, stick with folders. It's much simpler and much better organization (states correct as Atlanta a city). _ Yes, it is true, thank you! Next, I second everyone else, subfolders are much more organized, subfolders look better, and subdomains are an old SEO strategy (a little spammy, especially for a new domain) It is an old domain (registered 1994). What guys you mean by better structured? Sorry if it is a simple question, I just want to be sure if it is what I think. Also if a web site is in subdomain, does the main domain still pass some authority to the subdomain or not much?

Google autorship in specific field?
I agree with Steve. I would add that it makes sense that you could mark yourself as an author across various niches and sectors. After all, very few of us are interested in only one subject. Many of us have some expertise in multiple fields. So to limit authors to a single subject would be counter-intuitive and contrary to the way the world works. I don't believe Google wants to do that.

How Google differentiates web sites like directories?
I'm afraid I've seen issues with even decent quality directories. I have a client who originally published a print directory and then moved it to the web - they have relationships with all of the companies whose "products" they list (it's not a product directory, but that doesn't matter much for this discussion), they use unique descriptions, and they really focus on quality. Still, they've seen gradual declines, as the OEMs (essentially) rank higher and higher. I think Google is just starting to view the directory model in general with more and more suspicion. They'd rather land someone directly on a result or answer then go through what's essentially another search engine. That's not to say you're automatically penalized, but it's a tougher model to succeed at than it was even 5 years ago. I think, ultimately, you've really got to show some kind of unique value. If you're basically just listing other people's information, your chances of making much of a splash in the rankings aren't great these days.

Is there a need to have differen GWT account
Hi, In my opinion 1 client = 1 Google account (GWT, G+, GA ...etc). I agree with Davinia that linking accounts is good solution to make your work easier... Having one account per client let you transfer whole data to client after contract termination and the client will be satisfied.

Wordpress multilanguage sitemaps
Hi, thanks for the idea. Actually manually of course can be done, but if there is automatic update solution would be much easier, expecially if there are many projects.

Seo category or specific seo page?
Yes, I have read that it is good about 50% from the backlinks to be with different anchor text. (A good reminder.) But is this good only for the external links? I was thinking also is it ok to point my internal backlinks to one page for one keyword?

Is it possible for a website with only 20 pages to be ranked in top?
Sure, it's possible. Site size is generally not a ranking factor. Not directly, at least. As Jim points out, the larger site may be more useful to the user, which would attract more backlinks, etc. Bottom line: Focus on making your site the best. If that means adding more great content and making it bigger, great. If you can make it great without adding more pages, that's fine, too.

Keyword stuffing - is it true?
Hi Jose, Thanks for looking up this thread. It looks like the issue wasn't with the site (that I know of) or our tool. It's rather that we don't support non-UTF8 characters in our tools, which is causing that count to be off. The issue lies in that we don't support slavic characters, so our on-page tool can only do their best to come up with "matches." So when we see that "уеб дизайн" our tool can't tell if that's a word/phase since Roger doesn't speak this language, it does what a non-speaker would do and do character matches instead. So in that 9 character phase, we were able to find "matches" for each of the 9 characters on the page we paired up against. So in that instance, they were seeing so many matches on that page. Currently, our product team are kicking around a few ideas on what languages to support next. They would love to hear from our customers though at: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-seomoz-pro-feature-requests Feature requests helps us out tremendously since it helps us prioritize our workflow and figure out what to build next. I hope that's helpful! Please let me know if you have any questions. Best, Peter Moz Help Team.
