You want to add the content to help your users, right? You aren't trying to get it indexed, correct? Just noindex those pages...

RE: Page Penalization
The title of the page in question is the same term twice (the second time just includes 'in') The H1 is just the same term. Your H2 reads like it was only meant to stuff the term into it rather than actually be a header to help the reader know what the page is about. Every instance of the term in the copy is bold... just that kind of stuff. Less is more in today's SEO - at least that is what works for me... I would have to say that if this wasn't Manual Action the Panda just realized that the site was built for Google instead of the user. I am not speaking ill of your website at all - that is just how I see it. I am sure others may have different opinions.

RE: OSE shows links on sites but can't find links
I thought I was correct
Thank you and sfseo for letting us know! -
RE: Page Penalization
You mean only this page, correct? Although I agree that the page is over optimized, I wouldn't say it is any more over optimized than the home page... when I search the home page's focus term (family holidays spain) I don't find your site. Did you used to rank well? Has Google sent you a notification of Manual Activity, meaning that you have been knocked back?

RE: .me.uk or .com domain with hyphen?
Honestly I was just surfing through when I saw your question
Lucky me though

RE: .me.uk or .com domain with hyphen?
I have never had any issues with hyphens. Aesthetically I prefer not to use them, but sometimes you just have to. I agree with you.

RE: OSE shows links on sites but can't find links
OSE doesn't operate in real time unless I am very much mistaken. I believe it crawls and updates every week... or maybe month... so you could have had those links when they last crawled but have since lost them. Or... I am wrong.. and if I am wrong I have no doubt that I will be corrected

RE: Best keyword research software / approach for blogging?
We use BrightEdge, although this is pricey, it does give excellent data on what competitors are focusing on. I also conduct a lot of manual research just using Google Search and Google Insights. Honestly, although BE does give excellent data quickly, I would have to say that nothing is going to out perform good ole' manual research. I have never used the Market Samurai that Roberto mentioned but I have heard nothing but good things. Also - you are a pro member here.... there are many GREAT tools available to you

I am so glad that it helped!

RE: How accurate and quick does Google pick up on canonical tags?
Would you care to share those pages? This is not an issue I have ever had and you have sparked my curiosity.

Well said, Mr. David Ingram!

RE: Looking for Advice on SEO for Minimilistic Site
I completely agree with activitysuper and I would strongly recommend taking care of your URLs. Also, your canonical tag is set to the dynamic looking URL and I don't know if that would be best for you. I think for best results you are going to need to obviously start some link building (I would keep it clean - big Penguin is watching!) - many of your images have the same alt text (your business name) - you might consider setting up some internal linking throughout the site to help spread the authority you should begin to gain - just standard on and off page stuff as well as the technical optimization that AS pointed out.

How are you? Have you cleared everything up? Just curious

RE: 3 URLS Being Created All For The Same Page
I meant that I added canonical tags to my site after I noticed almost the exact same thing that you did so I was suggesting that you do the same. Sorry for the confusion. And yes, I was suggesting that perhaps SEOMOZ changed something with their crawl since we both noticed the same thing around the same time.

RE: Google description showing latest post excerpt
Hey I see you got it fixed! Good job! What was the issue?

RE: Google cached snapshots and last indexed
Cesar,
That is what it means, yes. However, I have seen my Titles change (meaning they have crawled) but the snapshot not change so even though they say that they cache it with every crawl I think they miss sometimes.

RE: Is 301 redirecting all old URLS after a new site redesign to the root domain bad for SEO?
If they were, and still are, indexed in Google just do a site: search

RE: Google description showing latest post excerpt
Google wont display it until they crawl your site again but when I go to your website thetechblock.com and clear my cashe and view your source (Ctrl U) there is now no description at all.
