New Brand Tlds
Well, it's going to make registrars a ton of money, that's for sure. So the financial incentive is there, for them. Big corporations will eat it up too - and why shouldn't they? It offers a great branding perspective, and because of the somewhat selective nature of who will be allowed to actually register for these TLDs, adds a definite legitimacy factor to any company fortunate enough to get one.

Has Anyone Used Zemanta ?
I had used it extensively on our company blog to search for related images and for tag suggestions. But I had to uninstall it because I felt that I was not getting any usable related images and some how I also felt it was slowing down my admin panel. I also intended to use it for cross linking but it did not really help me in that aspect.

Anyone tested Open Site Explorer backlink numbers ?
OSE is based upon the Linkscape crawl of the web. Linkscape is designed to crawl the top 25% of web pages based on their importance (i.e. links). The crawl process takes 2-3 weeks, and then it takes 1-2 weeks to process the data. About once per month the Linkscape data is updated. The first reason your links may not appear is it can take up to two crawls for a link to be seen. Depending on when the link was added, it can take 2 months to be visible in OSE. The Linkscape update schedule can be seen here: http://apiwiki.seomoz.org/w/page/25141119/Linkscape%20Schedule The other reason a link would not be seen is if it is on a page with low PA. A page with low PA wont pass any real link value so it is not included in the link profile.
