Google officially announced in 2009 that meta keywords were not a factor. Including Meta keywords can be a negative instead of being a positive factor, as they are generally words which are inconsistent without meaning anything to a user or a search engine.
Hi Simone,
I have checked your website with Screaming Frog Tool, and In addition to what Eli has already explained, there seems to be some problem with the print pages of your website. They are showing up as redirect pages while pointing to the same URL, it must be an error on Wordpress plugin or the website itself. You need to get it fixed.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have further queries, I will be more than happy to help.

Hi There,
The results on google SERPs are hugely influenced by your personal preferences in Google , your browser history, and other factors that google considers while giving "personalized search results". You may also like to read a blog post I wrote on my website Impact of Personalized Search results .
Now, as for your question about search result being shown by Moz and google webmaster / analytics , and not to users . The ranks picked by these are indicative ranks, and give you an idea where your website might be ranking on certain keywords (not guaranteed ) . Along with this fact, the ranks also fluctuate for new websites based on their content freshness and backlink profile.
You will have to wait for some time and see whether this is consistently the case with your results.
I hope this helps, pls feel free to respond and let me know if you have further questions.
Regards,
Vijay
Although I could agree with Bryan Loconto to take a risk, yet it looks like a huge risk as your website structure might not be very well validated by the search engine bots. Also, it might take time to revert the ranks once lost.
PS: I am not just being conservation but a little cautious.
Hi Isabelle,
The links anchor needs to be contextual at all times or to the best extent possible.
What is an Ideal natural looking link?
How can SEO and traffic benefit from a natural link ?
As for whether you should use Long-tail or naked link anchors, it totally depends on the context in which the backlink is being created.
For example, I would use naked anchor text when building brand authority (for the website URL) and Anchor text when I wish to target specific keywords.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have further questions, I will be happy to answer them.

Vijay
Hi Joseph,
https://yoast.com/wordpress-seo-2-0/
Google recently introduced new features for their knowledge graph, allowing you to highlight yourself in the search results as either a company or a person. This includes you or your company’s name, if your site is for a company, the logo
The idea of the company name being used n the title is to make the best use of "Branded Keywords" on the site and being recognized by google as an authority of Branded keywords.
Which means that you have greater chances of getting ranked on your company name related keywords, however since your company name is long, you can customize the title tag in the yoast and use it at end of page title.
"company name - title" ....to be replaced with "title - company name"
I hope it helps, please feel free to respond and ask further questions.

Vijay

I agree with Tim Holmes, here is a detailed explanation why sub-folder are better than sub-domain now.
Here is a response from Rand Fishkin to a similar question
Subfolders are the way to go, but they're hard to do for a lot of organizations. Many CMS' (like Hubspot) make it quite challenging to host a Wordpress installation on a subfolder, but subdomains are pretty easy. Hence, when choosing where to host a blog or a separate content section, many folks go with the easier route rather than the one that requires a lot of technical effort and webdev/engineering time.
However, that doesn't mean that they're not losing out - I'd wager that all of those companies would see a bump if they moved their blogs to a subfolder of the same domain. We see this in example after example when sites invest in it, and you can see plenty of folks discussing their own experiences in the comments of the Moz post you linked to.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask further questions and respond to answer.

Vijay
It can be due to a lot of SEO/technical issues, Here are a couple of observations/suggestions:
Moz is pretty fair dealing with such issues, I believe even if the payment is made, they would be able to refund after you have written an email to them.
Don't worry, You will be hearing from them soon.

Hi There,
Here are some things you can try to get it working:
Clearing your cache and cookies of all Moz related data is a very important step since we've recently required authentication for the toolbar to function properly.
Sending over the below information to help@moz.com would be a huge help in efforts on diagnosing the issue, so if the above steps don't work for you, can you please perform the following steps and send over this screenshot to moz?
I hope this helps.I look forward to hearing back from you about the above.
Thanks,
Vijay
Hi There,
Taking your word for link profile, I checked your website only. It seems to be scoring low on website speed performance(especially pointing towards the image optimization requirement), else everything looks perfect. The mobile version is scoring worse in terms of speed, and it needs to be fixed.
Since, the keyword being targeted looks like a High Competition keyword, you need to try to outperform your competition in every department.
I hope this helps.

Vijay
CleverPhd,
Really since to see a detailed yet to the point answer.
Thanks for contributing, and being in the Moz community.

Hi There,
I believe you are talking about ALT text or the naming convention of the Logo of any website. It is important to give Logo and its alt text due importance, as you rightly pointed out they are amongst the first things bots see on the website. The right optimization of the Logo would be related to branding keywords of the website and not use it to spam the search for keywords.
I hope this helps.

Vijay

You might be right about Anchor text over optimization, try to give it a shot. Also, the pagespeed isn't satisfactory, it should be in the 90s for Mobile and 85 plus for the desktop. No harm in trying to optimize the images and website overall speed. User experience is given a lot of weightage these days, who knows it might help.
Hi There,
We have a travel client for the Caribbean who ranks very well for Caribbean events / carnivals etc. We made it a practice to 301 a past event to next year event date with information about this year's event (when an event is passed) . This has helped us build much more authority for next year (2017) events and carnivals.
I also found an article that you can refer
Event Wrapup Page: Often it’s good to have a wrapup page for the event. Here's an example from a recent link building presentation I gave: Why Links Matter to Small Businesses and How to Get Them. This is a dedicated page on your website that has references from the event (such as a Slideshare embed of presentations or perhaps links to other resources you mentioned) and other pertinent information. It’s also a great place for event attendees to link after the event.

When I send out the copy of my slides to event attendees, I email them the link to this page and encourage them to share it freely and link to it.
Speaking of links after the event...

Minor updates like these can be part of the game, but did you make any changes in the past few weeks?
Hi There,
If you are trying to get direct SEO value from Youtube video by virtue of embedding it on the website then Phil's moz post already explains why it will get value on youtube listing itself and not on your website.
However, the purpose of the video to be available on the website is more important. Whether the video compliments and supplements the website content, that would determine whether you are able to derive the real SEO value from the embedded link. To put it simply, if people would be interested to watch the video on your website that would increase the time spent on the page and benefit your website's purpose and also its SEO.
I hope that helps.
Thanks,
VJ
