Changing commenting platforms...will deleting old comments hurt SEO?
Is you current commenting system allowing FB logins? Because in my experience what users like about FB commenting is just the ability of commenting without first need to signup. I would stick with your current commenting system and just allow social logins, if you don't have already.

Site went down and traffic hasn't recovered
My indexation number went back to normal for 2/3 sites. But for one of my sites, the number still hasn't returned to normal. Do you have any idea as to why this might be? Do you think it's a bug with Google?

Why is Open Site Explorer Showing me Spammy Links That I Already Removed?
Hi, It takes time for OSE to keep spidering sites so if you are seeing something from a couple of months ago, but the link has gone, then you don't need to do anything else. It will get back round to spidering those sites again and will update. However, if you are concerned that links on spammy sites keep reappearing, then you would do well to disavow it, but other than that, no need to worry. Google isn't going to crawl at the same intervals as MOZ do, so as long as you are ensuring these links are gone, then you are doing everything you need. -Andy

What if my site isn't ready for Mobile Armageddon by April 21st??
I, like Cocoonfxmedia, would like to think that given Google has to be aware that not everyone will be able to remedy their situation quickly, they'll go easy at first and ramp up penalties over time. That said, I don't think anyone outside of Google knows the answer to your question. You're smart to push. I recommend you baseline traffic, conversions and rankings now, before the change, so you can use that push even harder should a negative impact be felt and you need evidence to support your request for approval.

Can I Use Meta NoIndex to Block Unwanted Links?
Thanks for responding. I think you're absolutely right, we need to take those precautions and then deal with the bad backlinks. I will try the disavow tool as well. Thanks!

What is better? No canonical or two canonicals to different pages?
When Google sees more than one canonical reference on a page, they will more than likely ignore all canonical hints that page has. Keep that in mind when you make your decision. If the canonical tags are working on most pages, but not on that one specific page with ?m=0, you might want to keep them implemented. If the issue is larger than that and you're seeing it effect your site in a negative way, remove them and see how Google responds. Here's a link to canonical information I refer to: http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2013/04/5-common-mistakes-with-relcanonical.html

Does Anyone Know How Linstant Works??
Thank you, Eyepaq. It didn't crash our Google usage here at work, so I'm assuming it works a little differently than Rank Tracker. Sounds like it works just like Google analytics would, but I have no evidence to back that up.

Did anyone's +1s disappear?
That's the new way Google is displaying info on profiles and pages. Before they displayed "+1s", which was a metric which included your total number of followers + all the +1s your content had obtained. Now they've broken that out into total number of followers and total number of views. Who knows how long the new format will last, but we can assume that Google found those numbers to be more useful than the previous format.

Does Google Dislike Slideshows?
Upload slideshows on Slideshare.net Google loves the domain from what I have seen, if you have a great range of links to the Slideshare content you can have them ranking for great terms. If you upload slideshow content to your own domain it may not be as effective.

Lost all comments on our blog...will it hurt rankings?
Thank you, Jane. It appears we are able to restore our comments, but it's good to know that it's not a negative factor.

Why does Google Alerts call my website a blog?
"Sometimes it shows up in both," to me, makes me think you've (probably) nothing to worry about. You're getting crawled as a Blog, which helps you in blog specific searches like Icerocket or Google Blog Search, etc., and you're also appearing as a website. It certainly doesn't seem like it will hurt your rankings.
