Does your company do anything to help out the local community? If so perhaps you can list this here. If you go into a mcdonalds (atleast in the few local to me) there is a board where they stress what they've done to help the local community. It's a great way of making yourself known in the local community whilst also keeping your content to a high quality.

RE: Forwarding a domain seems to be creating 10,720 backlinks according to majestic?
"or majestic is counting each redirected page on the old toptwincitiesrealtors.com site as a backlink"
That is what I would guess is happening, I believe the same happens in Google Search Console when you do the same thing.

RE: What is the best SEO way for a shop
Without a doubt domain.com/shop. Think about it though from a customer point of view, most languages read from left to right, so with the /shop they subconsciously read your brand name before the shop, however with the shop.domain.com they may just stop when they see shop as that's where they know they need to be.

RE: What are the SEO implications of high quality backlinks from US-based websites to UK-based websites?
If they're from relevant pages (topics) from within your clients niche to your client, regardless of where in the world you shouldn't have a problem. The idea that where in the world two different sites are based has an impact on link value to me does not make sense. A post that's on a specific topic would have global value, an example would be architecture, they could be a UK based company who have done some great work, a newspaper in the US covers the opening of the building and links to the architect. The fact that they are in different companies is almost irrelevant. I have seen no case studies to show that anything else would be the case.

RE: Reverting back to old domain name.
Yeah I believe that regaining the DA back shouldn't be an issue for the old domain. It won't be instant, but shouldn't be a massive amount of time before you get back to where you were previously.

RE: What are the best free/low cost tools you use for SEO?
Screaming Frog is a great tool that has a free version. 500 url limit (suitable for most small sites).

RE: UX & Product Page Design
I would say it depends on how bad the current page is. If you're going against known best practices I would do a redesign and then do element by element.
However if you're close and just trying to squeeze every penny possible, I would do individual elements on a 50/50 (or 30/30/30 or something like that if more variants) if possible. You don't want your users to load one time and see something completely different the next time.

RE: Does Auto-posting Schedulued Posts to Facebook via 3rd party tools have reduced reach ?
I personally believe this is the case, when I used to schedule via a tool I had created myself, my spontaneous posts (not scheduled) always had a better reach. However this is just going from a couple of relatively small (20,000 likes) pages.

RE: I have an authority site with 90K visits per month. Now I have to change from non www to www. Will incur in any SEO issues while doing that? Could you please advice me on the best steps to follow to do this? Thank you very much!
This may help you: https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200169886-Can-I-use-a-naked-domain-no-www-with-CloudFlare-
It looks as if you may be not need to migrate the domain to the www. version after all.

I've got to agree, an a/b test on these pop-ups would be a perfect solution.

RE: Domain Change behind Drop in DA from 49 to 9?
This could possibly be due to: https://moz.com/community/q/10-14-mozscape-index-update-details
See the following snippet: "Second, many PA/DA and other metric scores will look very similar to the last index because we lost and had problems with some metrics in processing (and believe that much of what we calculated may have been erroneous). We're using metrics from the prior index (which had good correlations with Google, etc) until we can feel confident that the new ones we're calculating are correct."

RE: Any experiences with Reviews.io?
I've been using them for the past few months and their offering is from what I can see is very good value. I've had a few issues with setting up and learning their platform (as well as actual bugs) however chatting to them on their live chat the issues have been resolved and also they've given credits to make up for their mistakes. So I'm a pretty happy customer of theirs.

RE: Canonical Query
Thank you for your responses. Hopefully someone who may have experienced this before will be able to contribute. It seems there's very little in this area about the potential impacts.
