I would agree with the above 2 opinions, but assuming the price is cheap I would also buy atlanta.travel and put up a small website there with minimal SEO work so you have it in case the domain starts gaining respectability and/or becomes valuable while testing if it can bring you anything.

My website operates in 14 languages, and overall we have not seen a decrease in traffic (hard to measure because we are very vulnerable to external factors)

I started using AWR about a month ago and in that time have seen the following changes in my visibility for some of my major markets:  Nothing major in either direction, but any advice of how to delve deeper to find an explanation for the markets that are decreasing?

UK: 15% ->13%

RU: 25 -> 26%

AU: 25% -> 21%

DE: 18% - 19%

ES: 11% -> 10%

SE: 42% -> 44%

On March 6 my Yandex TIC score went from 80 to 0.  I assume this had something to do with their algorithim update.

Any advice on how to get it back up or why this would occur?

We are planning on redesigning our homepage and are thinking of moving the location of our blog.

Currently it is part of the main menu with a tab "Blog and News"

Links to the top news article are also displayed below the fold.

I checked with Google In-Page analytics and the news articles main link get 0.1% of the clicks and the blog&news don't get any clicks.

The Marketing VP wants to move Blog&News to a link below the fold... which seems like it will send a message to Google we don't care about it and get it even less traction than we currently have in terms of visitors.

Any suggestions of what we should do with it?

The "How it works" video that is embedded on my sites homepage is currently linked to an individual YouTube account not our company account.

I would like to change the ownership so that the company profile can enjoy the added views (currently 13K +).  Is there a way to move the video to a different account without losing the views it has already accumulated?

Also, a related technical question - our R&D team says the video is slowing down the site.  It links to YouTube but there is nothing in the source of our page about YouTube.  Any suggestions for embedding it more effectively?

We are a gaming site that publishes industry news 2-3 times a week, but that is not our main source of income

I want to block all the inner archive news pages of my website in robots.txt - we don't have R&D capacity to set up rel=next/prev or create a central page that all inner pages would have a canonical back to, so this is the solution.

The first page I want indexed reads:
http://www.xxxx.news/?p=1

all subsequent pages that I want blocked because they don't contain any new content read:
http://www.xxxx.news/?p=2
http://www.xxxx.news/?p=3
etc....

There are currently 245 inner archived pages and I would like to set it up so that future pages will automatically be blocked since we are always writing new news pieces. Any advice about what code I should use for this?

Is there any negative impact or pitfall of using <base> HTML-tag? Our developers are considering it as a possible solution for relative URLs inside HTML-markup in the Friendly URL context.

Yep - geo-location info is in both locations

I am working on creating new SEO friendly URLs for my company website.

The products are the items with the highest search volume and each is very geo-specific
There is not a high search volume for the geo-location associated with the product, but the searches we do get convert well.

Do you think it is preferable to leave the location out of the URL or include it?

I want to know the search volume for ~1000 keywords that I discovered via ubersuggest.

Yesterday I could have done this in 5 minutes, but I can't seem to get it to work in the new Google tool and would love some advice.

When I either upload or copy and paste my list into the tool I can get it to give me search ideas with volume, but it has all the keywords I am uploading as 0 search volume (when I know that is not true and some of them have thousands of searches).  I've tried "entering keywords to see how they perform" and also "searching for keyword ideas" (the second just because the first didn't try after my 10 tries)

Any ideas about what I am doing wrong?
Or is this a bug other people have been experiencing?
