Noindex follow
Greetings te_c To answer your first question, yes, the search engines would crawl (provided they are crawlable) the internal links linking to other pages on your site. The second question I would like to answer but I need you to rephrase please? Do you mean robots.txt? You first question implied a meta tag, because that is what would appear in the section of a page. If your instruction "no follow" is in the of your site, then the suggestion to the search engine is not to follow. Conversely, if the instruction is "follow" the engine is told to follow. This is irrespective of whether the links are internal or external. To my knowledge, there is no instruction that can be fed to search engines that says "crawl if internal, don't crawl is external." You can accomplish this of course with creative workarounds, but there is no "command" for it. Also, keep in mind that these instructions for search engines are only suggestions. The engines may do something completely different and follow, or not depending on their "will." I hope that's helpful! Dana

Noindex search result pages Add Classifieds site
Usually classified sites have a lot of filters to narrow down, you should definitely no index them and also add those filtered pages to block list via robots.txt. You don't want google crawler to start going in loops and instead want to conserve it to top level pages which user search and would find valuable once they land on it.

How to know if a link in a directory will be good for my site?
You want to stay away from directories that have little to no screening process. If it's easy to get, it's not worth it. Make sure to do an "SEO background check" on them as well by checking their backlinks in open site explorer. See if they have good quality links, many linking c-blocks, DA, PA, PR, etc.. Here are some great directories, but you have to pay: Yahoo Directory ($299/Year) Best of the Web ($299/One-time) Business.com ($299/Year) JoeAnt ($39/One-time) SEOmoz also has a list of good directories here http://www.seomoz.org/directories

Categories in anAdd Classifieds site
Many thanks for your answer! We look for the search phrases for selecting the category names, and doing this, we found a lot of possible good categories for the site, but without dupplicate or confusing names. For example: instead of creating a category called: Consoles and Video Games, we use something more specific: video consoles second hand, video games used (actual keywords are in spanish). It is only a small example, that multiplies itself in different cases. Looking at your site, I notice that you decide to use more general categories, and works fine! Nice system in Gumtree! Easy to navigate and good looking. Thanks again for your answer, Daniel

Spanish written accents and keywords
To update a little about the issue. The only safe way of measuring the effects of the international characters I have found so far is the google webmaster tools, in the search querys section. There one can find the ranking position for a specific keyword. Unfortunatelly, Google treats both differently, are not the same. In my case it is a small difference, 5 positions for a specific combination. Thanks for your answers! Daniel

Domain Authority and Page Authority down - Change of Server
Howdy Daniel, Some good information here, let me add my own 2 cents; 1. Mozscape and Open Site Explorer are updated about every 4 weeks. The metrics are entirely link-based, so downtime of your server won't effect the numbers. Because we use a new index every few weeks, there's a natural fluctuation in the number of links we find. There are literally billions and billions of links on the web we have to crawl every month, calculate metrics for each one, and then package them into an index that makes sense. Sometimes links will disappear or re-appear in the index. This is natural and usually minor, although a large jump or decrease in your Domain Authority can be scary - it doesn't mean your traffic or rankings will change. Mozscape may have trouble finding links on pages without a lot of links pointing to them, or links hidden under layers of navigation. For more, see this document: http://www.seomoz.org/help/open-site-explorer-faq 2. Usually Google won't penalize you if your site is down, but if it's down regularly or for an extended period, this could have negative consequences. If you feel your site has suffered because of this, I might suggest submitting a fresh sitemap, or try the "crawl as googlebot" feature as soon as your back up and running. May not do much, but it's worth a shot. 3. Sitelinks - I don't have a definite answer about this, but Google seems to show sitelinks based on user intent, the popularity of your pages, navigation structure, and overall authority. Although Google offers a tool to remove sitelinks, it's pretty hard to influence exactly what they choose to show and when. Hope this information helps. Best of luck with your SEO!

Manage two domains with Webmaster tools
To your first question - the domain name matters much less than ever so if you have a name you like better as a brand name, use that. Having a great site up at exactkeyword.es won't help you much if any more than having a great site up at notreallyanykeywords.es Related just to your second question about managing two domains in Webmasters Tools. We manage about 45 domains in our main Webmasters Tools account so there is no problem managing multiple accounts. In fact, it's very easy when you want specific data to just go to that page, cycle through the domains and find it for each site.

Domain containing keywords and 301 redirections
Hi, third edit. Thanks for the answers! I have already read a little about it on the web. Exact Match Domains are no longer a good idea, since google made some algorithm changes. There are be better ways to use my time optimizing my webpage. Many thanks again, Best Regards, Daniel
