Most welcome
You can install Mozbar if you are using FF or Chrome, it has a lot of useful features.
I've just checked your Google Cache for this page and it seems to be fine. I advise you don't worry that much about SEOmoz robot.
Hi have you tried to check if this page accessible for Google robots in Webmaster Panel. Because sometimes there are some sort of software which are blocking SEOmoz robot.
Also check your robots.txt file if there are no any restrictions. For ex. it might be setup to accept only Google robot but not others.
Proper On-page optimization doesn't guarantee you that your keyword will appear in SERP. For this you need to increase your Page Authority by getting some good links.
Also according to your screenshot I see that you didn't use your keywords:
ALT IMAGE (which + 20% of on-page opt for particular keyword)
H1 (which + 30% of on-page opt for particular keyword)
And make it or at least 1 time.
Okay, the answer is pretty simple. If you sitemap appears in Google SERP it means that Google found it the most relevant to your search query "kyocera black and white printers".
What I would recommend you to do is:
First decide landing page is the most relevant to this query, have enough text and density of this keyword
Then apply some easy steps of SEO on-page optimization. If you are a SEOmoz Pro member then it will be easy to do for you just going to the Research Tools and section of On-page analysis. Just follow the steps there.
After that when you will be sure that on-page optimization done, go to Google webmasters and Fetch the URL for the particular optimized keyword and resubmit it to index.
The latest step try to get some good quality links on your landing page with this keyword.
And after all, just wait for Google update and if everything done correct then for this search query you will get new landing page. However it doesn't mean that the page with your sitemap disappear, it will stay somewhere below the new landing page in SERP. Because if Google thinks that this page relevant to your keywords, he can't just throw it away out of SERP.
Please specify what type of queries you are using?
Hi James,
I am not sure if I read your question clearly, but as I understood you are asking if there any benefit of putting the branded link in the footer of client's website.
Of course if you will write something like "Powered by SEOLancer" where SEOlancer will be the link then you might get a positive impact on your Domain Authority. But if your write "Power by SEO agency - SEOLancer" then you also ger a chance to increase your rankings for keyword "SEO".
That's my thoughts
Cheers,
Russel
I will advise you to target your keyword on main page because main page has more weight and trust in front of Google. So it should be easier to bring it on Top Page of Google. Also if you have another page with relevant information to your keyword then if will be great if you put a link on this page targeting on main page. of course the anchor should be your keyword.
Frankly speaking there is no reason for you to keep the Security Function switch ON. I have around 20 websites done on Joomla CMS and all of them packed with sh404SEF since I found it the most accurate and bug free SEF component for Joomla. And during all this time I have been using it, the Security Function has been Switched OFF. Same I will recommend for you, it is useless.
And remember the main purpose of sh404 is to make your website more SEO friendly but not to prevent from hacker attacks. So it's not an security component so far and still it might have a lot of bugs and mistakes.
BTW I read somewhere in INTERNET that many people had the same problem like you, but with different robots, not only SEOmoz. So you should be also careful because it might make a negative impact on other search engines.
I advise: Turn this sh*t OFF ;)))
Hi everyone,
I've got a chance to put some links on good quality websites. BUT there is a little problem which confuse me a lot. Those website are on Russian language.
I have an English keyword and promote it for Google.com. I know that the link from Russian websites still can make a good impact on keyword rankings in Google but I am confused shall I wrap the anchor text with English or Russian text ?
For ex.: привет <a>keyword</a> привет or Hi i am John <a>keyword</a> from US.
Logically Google might be surprised to see English text on Russian websiteю
Thank you for your attention to this topic.
Russel
I would recommend you to install captcha. Of course a lot of bots know can pass through it. But at least you will reduce the qty of spam links.
It depend how you are getting those links for your campaign, what strategy you are using for your linkbuilding campaign. I can recommend you following things:
Always contact with web master before you going to submit/buy/order any link from the website. Tell him in advance that the link should be without No-follow tag.
You can use http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/ to find the good quality links of your competitors without No-Follow tag and submit try to submit your links there.
Use SEOmoz bar to identify which types of links used on a website, to avoid any surprise in future.
Check the links on your website and make sure that all of them are without No-Follow tag, except if the are external links.
Make a cross links on your website, which will give you additional links.
I think nobody will blame me if I tell you YES, because until now it is not proven fact that the appearance of your keywords in meta description will make an impact on your rankings. However I will recommend two things:
If you use any type of CMS (Joomla or Werdpress) to build your website then you can download the plugin which generates the meta description automaticaly.
Still it's better if you will include the targeted keywords from page to meta description, and even if you check SeoMoz on-page optimization, those guys are recommend to do this.
Remember that attractive and interesting Meta Description might highlight you among your competitors and bring you additional traffic even if you are not TOP1.
Hope that it was clear.
Hello everyone, it's me again
I've just got a Pro membership on SeoMoz and I am full of questions.
A few days ago I found very interesting tool called: Search Engine Pingler
And description of it was like this:
Your website or your page was published a long time, but you can not find it on google. Because google has not index your site. Tool Search engine pingler will assist for you. It will ping the URL of your Page up more than 80 servers of google and other search engines. Inform to the search engine come to index your site.
So my question is that tool really helps to increase the indexation of the link by search engine like Google, if not, please explain what is a real purpose of it.
Thank you to future guru who can give a right answer
I have a website http://www.versaillesdentalclinic.com with 20 pages in Total, but i need it to be on the top page of Google by 65 keywords and may be more.
How many keywords per page shall I use? Currently I am promoting around 12 keywords high competitive for main page? Is it ok?
I will appreciate a good answer
Thanks,
Russel
