Hi There,

To check if content on my site is plagiarized or not, i copy it from my site and then paste the text in tools available online. They highlight the green text as UNIQUE and in red as PLAGIARIZED. When I click the plagiarized content to see which OTHER SITE is using the same content as that of mine, it leads me to the pages of my own site. I am confused on this. Where is the other site.

Can somebody help how to find the other sites online that have similar content as that of mine. Or there is some fault in my understanding??

My question is very focussed regarding these 2 tools.

Is it correct to understand that MoZ tells keyword difficulty and not which keyword is easy to compete. And SEMRush tells which keyword is easy to compete but does not tell which keywords are difficult to compete?

I mean one (Moz)  misses the one part and the other (SEMRush) misses the other part.

Hope some will enlighten me to the point.

1- Does MoZ provide the data on “which keyword searchers are searching in a particular market”, so that I can make a better decision regarding my own keywords?If MoZ does not do this what other best tool is out there in market for this particular purpose?

2- Suppose I decide some keywords for my site and start doing optimization for them. "Does MoZ tell me “how much traffic my those keywords are receiving with the passage of time”. If MoZ does not do this what other best tool is out there in market for this particular purpose?

3- Does Moz give "data on competitors keyword activity also"? If MoZ does not do this what other best tool is out there in market for this particular purpose?

Hope somebody with concrete knowledge and experience will enlighten me.

My management does not believe frequent content posting on the example.com

My Queries

1- Will it help boost ranking of **example.com **if we share frequent content on our blog https://blog.example.com/? How much impact it has?

2- Every body says content is the king, Ok fine, but when you are not allowed to share it on the main corporate site, then where to share it? Blog and social media sites? please help.

3- We are in a business where clients do not bother to go on sites and read, so in this scenario is it correct to say that you hav to create the content for search engine consumption even when your clients dont need it/or have not in the habit of reading it?

Hope somebody will enligten me caught in catch 22.

Hi,

I ran a search of more than 10 of my competitors in Open Site Explorer to have insights on their social activity. In every case I found "NA" marked against Twitter data. Does it mean there is no activity being performed by the urls against which i am running the query? Or it is something else?

Wondering since there is much activity and data of course against Facebook and Google+ (same urls yeh!)

Anybody could find time to share her/his knowledge please.

The Daily SEO Fix Videos are a great stuff to watch to understand Moz - how it works. A bit disappointed to learn you are closing down this particular project. Hoon Not so happy!

As for suggestions:

1- Design a video tutorial project where one could have a holistic view of at least one area rather than coming up with small tiny part of a functionality. Look, in the case of your videos related to link building, i think there are 7 in total you people posted so for involving 4 MoZ Tools: OSE, FWE, Moz Bar and Link Intersect Tool. It become a bit overwhelming to make mental connection of 4 tools to reach one objective i.e. effective link building.

I would suggest to shift your focus from the Moz Tool Function to User's Objective. Tell users how they can take care of every thing related to link building using Moz different functionalities.

2- It certainly requires more time to video  may be upto 6 to 7 minutes, would be happy if you could do so.

Hope I am able to convey myself, if you feel I am creating confusion i will be happy to explain myself further.

Can some body explain me in simple terms that how Moz can help me see if there is any traffic on keywords for example a, b, and c i have decided for my site. And If there is no/low traffic then what I should do next? How many options are available to me to bring up traffic to my keywords?

Thanks for generously responding to my query. Yeh I feel there must be some more information about the sites I am talking about.

Sites are actually web-based applications to be used by our existing clients and will be completely available to search engines for indexing except the applications.

Login areas and the applications onward have different urls not for search engine consumption but for the users only.

Each site has only one product (application) to be sold/used by the clients. Rests of the promotional pages are very few and available to search engines. And I expect management is not interested to add up any more pages, even the one site has not even a single page so for except the application and login area.

Hope this information is enough to help you frame you response to this specific situation.

The sources you suggested I am consulting and in the meantime hoping to listen from you.

Hi Everybody,

I have two e-commerce sites just launched with not much content at the moment just user login pages for the clients to avail the service. The management is not interested to put much content there i think. Maximum what they will be putting only 5 pages of content in total, not more than this. Any practical tips how to optimize such sites especially when there is not much content.

I have just come across a link crisis on my site. There is a sharp and sudden rise in No. of Links. Latest details are as under:

• External Followed Links                582
• Total External Links                      710
• Total Links                                  30548
• Followed Linking Root Domains   92
• Total Linking Root Domains        126

Can somebody come to help that :

• What are the reasons for sharp rise in total number of links and
• How it impacts my site (I notice a drop in DA)

Hi MoZ Community,

Does anybody know how well is Microsoft SEO Toolkit. As far i have noticed  this tool reports around 20 violations under three broad areas like : SEO, Content and Performance.

On many violations I have found MoZ to be silent like :

1-unnecessary redirects

2-Invalid mark ups

3-Missing Tag

4-like vilations and others

Important is that it tells solutions as well against each violation on how to fix that. Any body can give insights while comparing it with MoZ.

Moz weekly crawl used to report following errors : I have fixed them all over the time. Can somebody give an idea what to do next with the help of Moz or away from Moz to improve my optimization practices. I believe this is just start of the SEO. Or how is it if I focus link building efforts and start fighting for keywords. Also any suggestions about the web?

In my childhood in my neighborhood there used to be a respected old man who would say: "When you have a problem go on the roof and cry aloud so that somebody could come to your help."

So i cried here in the MoZ Community to find solution for me but could not.

As far your query MoZ must provide urgent ticket posting option to users where users could get an instant reply from MoZ team.Posting a query through mail to MoZ an waiting for the reply is like a hell.

Second there must be resources on explaining various MoZ reports in detail. This is how I think.

Do you have an idea what to do if Moz support does not respond even after passing of 48 hours when i posted them an urgent query about my campaign setting. Which door to knock? This community is amazing but at times you need to talk to those who run the show.
