RE: Content Marketing: Should we build a separate website or built in site within the Website itself?
i am working now on a Carpet cleaning campaign for customer in North CA and what i did its ratter then heaving site that link to the main URL i just did a mini site for each area , this way you are relevant and Google will rank you higher.
the thing i also recommend its put them all in Google places and promote that as well

see sample 2 of this area sites (there is about 7
you will see one all about maps and the other one up on organic search

RE: Multi domain redirect to single domain
yep that's the idea make something from it , but a very important factor is that the link to the main domain you put only after they gain a good DA and on different c class and here you have good 40 links that will never go away , don't we all looking for those all the time

RE: Multi domain redirect to single domain
well it depend what you want to benefit from this domains and what is your client field , i would do the follow:
get 40 blogs or landing pages on this domain , promote and do some seo on those to get a good DA , then put those 40 on different c class servers and link them to your main domain

RE: Where do i find Local SEO Clients?
really the best thing you can do its go and hand business cards then you not "another one" that calling this places and offer a website, you have the advantage of local use it.
regard Skype, work with Voip company and have you freelancer register to this company for like $50 a month you will make unlimited calls.

RE: Should I get these links removed?
take a look at this old link you are getting the link exchange for , what is the DA of this site and the PA of the page(if you don't know what they are join Seomoz or download the free extension , also another very impotent factors:
is it relevant ???
how many links he have to others , is he web spamming ??
that's really the factors you need to look for when you get links , problem is sometimes we get great links and then after few months this site sold to many like us and the same site that was great now flag by Google.
so don't rush with removing this links , do inspect them.
hope that help you

RE: Can Twitter really help your Google Rankings??
Twitter, Facebook and any other social media site will help you in Google terms but few things here:
first you don't want to post tweets all day and link to your site, that's a big no. keep it natural try to have your customers follow you and give them relevant information of your industry.
sure sometimes you can run deals (i am not sure what you sale or service) and tweet about that , just make sure your site and twitter account linking one to the other.
do the same with Facebook and few others and yea it will help in the long run and not only to your ranking as don't forget ranking its not the all game customers are and if you communicate true social media it will help you in the long run for sure.
hope that help

RE: Where do i find Local SEO Clients?
hi and welcome to this community

look to me that the problem you heaving it's that you try to target only your local community and it's great as nationwide level will be very hard to target with the competition and the sites that ranking up.
for local i found that the best way to do it it's:
go online look for restaurants, spa, nail salon and many other local bossiness and you will see many coming up in Google maps but in domain location you have Google.maps meaning they don't have a site or didn't claim this listing and here you go call this business , email or if are a good marketing place and you do have the benefit of being local just go there and hand this business cards.
you can also open yp.com and many other directories and again look for business without websites.
hope that help you

RE: The Franchise Challenge: How should I handle 200 franchisee websites?
i will highly recommend you stay with one main site that refer to "local office" and you can also do many different maps on the sub domains.
I working on 2 sites that are the same for what you referring ( not franchise but with local offices) and they are up with all main keywords and city sub domains sample at 123locksmith.com
also as you said it will be way more easy for you to control this site and rank it up.
hope that help

RE: What the - SERP?
Sorry to disappoint you but look to me lately that Google show new sites up (same with new maps) for few days and then they drop to their natural position.
i was coming across this few weeks ago with one of my customers projects and seance then i am checking it and see most sites show up there for few days and drop down.
hope it will stay up for you

RE: Where Do I Post to Hire SEO Experts
I will also recommend search your field , see the companies that rank up in strong keywords and see if you have a way to contact the company that did the SEO (usually they did it long time ago and don't serve this customer anymore so they can help) that's how i get most of my work and people already have the trust as they see what we can do.
good luck

RE: Question on backlinks indexing
first i will say don't go to fast if you want to be up there for a long time and not just for few weeks, so sure let Google do it's work naturally.
regard Yahoo i just answer the same question , go here https://ecom.yahoo.com/dir/reference/cost and submit your Site and you be surprised what $300 can do, it will also help you with Bing and Google.
hope that help

RE: How can i get high ranking on yahoo?
let me start and say that you don't need to do anything in your SEO strategy if you are ranking up on Google and not in Yahoo.
go to this page https://ecom.yahoo.com/dir/reference/cost and submit your site you will be surprised $300 can do ,it's correct to say that Yahoo take the info from Bing but it go both ways.
another thing i can recommend if your site work on Local level it's yahoo maps and that will also help you with Google as they show Yahoo maps in Google search.
hope that help you
