Writing on the web, what is recommended
Do you consider the 2 nd being best because the subject is "your bicycle ride" instead of "you" ? I am actually targeting "alsace bike tours" as a sentence but this sentence is part of the highlights of my tour. Maybe in that case it is better to write "Today, your bike tour takes you to Obernai." or doesn't it matter ? Thank you,

Does the coding of a website really what matter for SEO
Thanks. How about if a h1 tag is in a module by itself for example on wordpress at the top of my page. Can it hurt ? wouldn’t it better if the h1 closed at the end of my page so that it includes my h2 h3 tags within the h1 for search engine to understand the relation between all the h tags ? Je

Entities and Properties
Hi Christy, My question is following : I am wondering if sentences with the “you" as the subject such as the one below are any helpful to rank ?Or if the ones that only count (in the eyes of google) are the ones that have my entity / keyword or related keywords as subjects.Let’s say I want to rank on "Burgundy bike tour"Is having Burgundy, cyclist, bike tour, route, Dijon, wine as a subject in a few of my sentence better than for example having "you "as a subject ? or is the "you" counted in some way if the sentence is well constructed. For example : "It’s not every day you get to taste world-class wine at its source."Subject is “you”Predicate is “get”Object is "to taste world-class wine at its source”Does this sentence which is well constructed have any value for the keyword "Burgundy bike tour"By the way if my subject in a sentence is the pronoun "it" does it count in any way also ?Thank you,

How does google decide who to rank 1 st ?
Hi SEO Analytics, You can start understanding how Google ranks websites by reading Moz's Beginner's Guide to SEO. Once you've finished reading it, read it again. Cheers, David

Interested ranking results
Thank you for your reply but my pages are at the same level as all the other and don't have any links like all the others... The keywords are not less competitive either. So the answer is somewhere else... Do you have any other ideas ?

If you type bike tours in google search box
Google's algorithms prioritize bike paths, bike lanes, and net elevation gain, as far as I can tell. It's useful for that, coming up with paths I wouldn't have used otherwise. My town has a published map, bike paths with color coding, lanes and known routes. I use it as a structure to begin and improve how I prefer to (often lowest traffic, in spite of added distance). Long ago, I started using "4 stroke bikes cheap" to map known routes, and I still find the UI to construct a path convenient. I never used it to download music, I don't even know if it was capable of that. "RideWithGPS" does that, I guess, if that's what you want.

Length for ranking, is it keyword dependant ?
Hi Seoanalytics, Is there a correlation or causation between the search popularity of a keyword an the difficulty to rank? I would think the primal reason for dificulty in ranking is a high comercial value of the Keyword that could be because a lot of people search it or because it has high values + margins. So not just the popularity of the search term is key and a keyword could be highly popular but have no comercial value. e.g. for "tying shoes" (i know not very exciting example) i find 6.600 monthly searches in US and moz ranking diifficulty 50. and for "ty slippers" 390 monthly searches moz ranking difficulty 65, whereas you would excpect the other way around if there was causation. so i would say there is correlation but no causability. Just my 50 cents

Contextual links (is this screen shot considered contextual /editorial links ?)
Thank you for the reply, but does it still pass link juice ? My question is how canI talk about the those regions listed on my screen shot on a page about Burgundy for example, it is very difficult to talk about the island of corsica or Normandy on a page about Burgundy...
