I'd also suggest craigslist. Always results in tons of responses, Might need to do a bit of sorting through the pile to get the good resumes.

RE: Choosing domain name - ccTLD vs Vanity URL
to be on the safe side, find a hosting provider in Africa. If you type in "franchise" in the google.co.za search engine, the majority of the first page listings are the .co.za extension, so even if the local hosting makes a small difference might as well take advantage of that.

RE: Should I be running my crawl on our www address or our non-www address?
Pick the one that has more inbound links associated with it and already has high pages in the index. Make sure you set the preferences in WMT to either the www. or the non www version.

RE: Help! A site has copied my blog!
Normally if you send a strong worded cease and desist to that webmaster , it should work and you aviod the costs associated with a lawyer. If that does not work, then i would go with Lesley and Ron's suggestions.

RE: Competitors using our company name as a keyword in Bing Ad results
Chris,
File a complaint with Bing directly. If you own the trademark/copyright on your name then you can file a complaint.
Link to the copyright infringement form here
Link to the Trademark misuse in ad copy form here
If you do not , then you'll just have to bid on your own name to compete for the position.

RE: Difference between Organic and Natural Traffic?
Hi Shawn,
There is some discrepancy with details in regards to what each of these terms could be used for. Some see these terms as basically synonymous, as organic traffic does indeed refer to web traffic directed through search engines. Organic traffic can also include direct and social media links. Natural traffic can also be used to describe the same element, with links from search engines or any website. When traffic is generated through users directly entering a URL, this is usually referred to as “direct” traffic.

RE: Best Tools for Invoicing, Accepting Payments, Sending Receipts
Hi Ben,
Based on the volume of transactions, you might want to consider FreshBooks. Although not as comprehensive an accounting solution as QBO, it is very focused on invoicing and payment and is an ideal solution for small agencies/businesses providing services. I've provided a link to their features list below:

RE: Best Moz article on landing pages?
Based on what you're describing, i would advise the client not to go down that route. The idea for landing pages is to drive targeted traffic for a specific campaign with unique information. I would suggest adding some localized content for each of the pages to impact conversion rates and visitor interaction. The unique content will not only lead to a better conversion rate but can be optimized for geo targeted keyword phrases without being perceived as duplicate by Google.

RE: What can i do to regain top 3 for local map listings if I already created a bunch of citation link to my site?
Be patient Sam, you don't want to do too much too soon raising more flags with Google. As long as you're getting good citations for your places listing, it should be a matter of time before you regain your position. Since you did have the top positions in the past i'm assuming you followed all the best practices to optimize your places listing.

RE: Simple on-site SEO - bet practice for keywords in content
Try not just focusing on the exact keyword but also closely related keywords. If the article is well written and picks up good social traction , you might end up ranking for different closely related keywords, not just the main keyword.
