No Access to change duplicate product title and meta tags!?
Well this system the company made is used for a lot of companies that sell a particular manufacturers products, so they have it set up this way so that when the manufacturer adds a new product it updates every site that they built. Its a mess. I already found a company from another state that had my clients name left in their title tags from when they copied the info over. At least I got that resolved though.

Noob Question on franchise sites
Hi Scott I think it depends on the size of the brand and site of the company that provides the franchise. I was speaking to a client today who runs a franchise locally and they are stuck, as a franchisee, with having to have a page on the company site. But if you search for the brand (which is quite well known) then you will see the pages that are relevant locally. I hope that helps, Peter

Yext descriptions count as duplicates?
The best (most surest post-panda) and more time consuming and expensive method would be not going with YEXT and custom creating each local listing description and creating your own listings. Having said that, in the local SEO world many will still agree that quantity of listings over quality still prevail, even in the post-panda current state of SEO. Hope this helps

Why less social accounts on higher plans?
I do not have a need currently, I was just curious because I may need to upgrade soon and was trying to make sense of the pricing structure. Thanks for the clarification!

Noob question about keyword research
Scott, admittedly you could spend hours! Keyword research can be extensive and time-consuming, so ensure you/they have a clear understanding of their target audience and local. And when you are researching keywords, take advantage of Google Keyword Tool's ability to insert the URLs of the competitors. If their competition is ranking in the SERPs, look at their keywords. One more tip... You can use SEM Rush, free version has minimum data, to see phrases for which the competition is ranking as well as which URLs. Once you have a core set of terms that bring them value (money terms), evaluate their content to ensure they relevant content. Optimize from there. I'd suggest getting webmaster tools accounts set up with Google and Bing ASAP. You're on the right path!
