Hi,
Hope below link help you out from Google webmaster central:
http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.in/2012/01/better-page-titles-in-search-results.html
Hi Laura,
Done some research on your problem and here are my findings on it. Sorry I not sure about it but you can try it out:
From Google Webmaster: ( Read text in bold)
In addition, embedded video or other rich media may not be visible in Instant Preview. The preview generator renders JavaScript, AJAX, CSS3, frames, and iframes in the same way that a Safari / Webkit-based browser would. It currently does not support Silverlight or Java applets, which may be shown as a "puzzle piece" in the preview image.
What I find in your site ?
Check first line of your HTML code. Here it is:
**<html xmlns="<a class="attribute-value">http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml</a>" dir="<a class="attribute-value">ltr</a>" lang="<a class="attribute-value">en-US</a>" **
xmlns:og="<a class="attribute-value">http://opengraphprotocol.org/schema/</a>">
**Solution:**
When I open the "**http://opengraphprotocol.org/schema/" url, the web page get redirected to "http://ogp.me/".**
Read the first line of ogp.me it says that "The Open Graph protocol enables any web page to **become a rich object** in a social graph".
Hope this help you out.....
Lets forget about seo, but from user point view ( navigation ) "Home" word is more famous so. If text link is with "Home" word then its quite easy for visitor to understand.
Yes... Please check your backlink profile then make appropriate redirection.
Hmmm.... Have you implemented the redirection ? I don't see any redirection.
Can you remove sitemap.xml link from footer ? And put that in robots.txt.
Not sure, but I have tried that in one of my clients website, it works for me.
May I have your website URL ? And some keywords on which you are ranking ?
Let me quote Rand's awesome White Board Friday here :
Number three, cruddy, link filled footers. I see this all the time still. You're just having a bunch of exact anchor links down in here that no one would actually really click and that come in lists. I often see them in light gray on light gray so that it's not particularly easy to read. Use your footer wisely. Use your footer to link to the things that people expect to find in the footer. If you really need to get anchor text on pages, find natural ways to put it in the real menu at the top, in the content itself. Don't be trying to mess around and throw footer links site wide, across things. This 2002, man. We're ten years later. It's like at least a decade past that.

Hope you will get your answer after watching this video.
Just checked childrensfunkyfurniture.com for canonical issue. I didn't find any, you have implemented it correctly. Pages that I have checked:
Main URL : http://www.childrensfunkyfurniture.com/baby-cots
Canonical version of URL :
http://www.childrensfunkyfurniture.com/baby-cots?zenid=3rjvkjpjqojtsi7qug1r047bf3
http://www.childrensfunkyfurniture.com/baby-cots?sortprice=L2H&showitems=48&view=Gallery&sort=20a
http://www.childrensfunkyfurniture.com/baby-cots?sortprice=L2H&showitems=12&view=Gallery&sort=20a
Suggestion:
Your website is opening in www and non www version can redirect 301 to one version ( on which you have strong backlink profile)
**www version : **http://www.childrensfunkyfurniture.com/
Non www version : http://childrensfunkyfurniture.com/
Hi Dean,
First you have redirect to all old urls to new urls ( 301 redirect ). If your website has good backlink profile then don't go for MVC friendly URL. Because even if you do 301 redirection Google will not pass whole link juice to new URL.
Punit,
I think its showing because IP canonicalization. Your site's IP 50.63.177.37 does not redirect to your site's comparebroker.com. So Google is treating ip address as different site. This could cause duplicate content problems if a search engine indexes your site under both its IP and domain name.
Solution: Consider using a 301 re-write rule in your .htaccess file so that your site's IP points to your domain name. It can also be solved through by putting canonical URL.
Thanks to woorank.com for online tool.

Dennis Its Okay we are you to discuss and learn new thing.
Can you please check redirection of ntutility.com using above websites ? None of them are able to detect the redirection that IT Admin has done.
Let me do some searching on DNS redirection then I will get back to you.
Dennis,
Can you please ask your IT Admin to recheck the redirection because as per above three website redirection is not proper. After you fix this issue, submit xml sitemap and fetch devicelock.com in GWT.
Hi Punit,
May I have your website URL ? And some of the examples of links ? You might have multiple sites on same IP.
Hi Dennis,
I have just check devicelock.com cached version in Google it showing ntutility.com. And you have redirected ntutility.com to devicelock.com. May I know how you have done redirection ? Its not search engine friendly. I have checked redirection using thee website :
http://www.internetofficer.com/seo-tool/redirect-check/
http://www.webconfs.com/redirect-check.php
http://www.seologic.com/webmaster-tools/url-redirect
After solving redirection error setup Google webmaster tool and submit a xml sitemap to Google. And you also try fetching home page through Google Webmaster.
Hi Gerard,
I don't have exact answer for your question but I have find something that might help you out. I have just your source page in that there are two title and two description tag. See Below :
<title>About Us - The history of the Park - Fota Wildlife Parktitle>
<meta name="<a class="attribute-value">description</a>" content="<a class="attribute-value">Fota Wildlife Park is a joint project between the Zoological Society of Ireland and University College Cork (UCC), an idea conceived in the 1970s.</a>"/>
```
<meta property="<a class="attribute-value">og:title</a>" content="<a class="attribute-value">About Us - The history of the Park - Fota Wildlife Park</a>"/>
<meta property="<a class="attribute-value">og:description</a>" content="<a class="attribute-value">Fota Wildlife Park is a joint project between the Zoological Society of Ireland and University College Cork (UCC), an idea conceived in the 1970s.</a>"/>
```
Hope this information help you....
```
Hi Aaron,
Do I get some examples those links ?
Hi Jessica,
1. Implementation on canonical tag is the best solution in your case
2. Google doesn't index URLs in which you have implemented canonical tag, so I don't think you have to worry about it. After six month when you remove canonical tag I think you will get little boost in ranking as you have updated the page with unique content.
Hope this help you out...
Hi Koushik,
