I would not recommend doing this.

We have had this lively debate at our agency and another factor is ADA conformance - which requires an H1 for screenreaders. Does anyone have research as to if the H1 is visually hidden (but in code for screenreaders), this is a black hat technique or acceptable? Looking at even Moz's own site and Google for H1 best practices is a rabbit hole of this H1 argument between developers and marketing.

Thanks Steve.  I agree that the site: query is not working in an appropriate manner. But I have noticed that the pages indexed by google are showing up in SERP with site: query . I have checked new GSC and found that few pages are not indexed for my website, when I searched these pages in Google using "info:" query, it appears. It concluded that the pages which are not indexed by Google will not appear for "site:" query but can appear for "info:" query. site: Indexed by Google info: Known by Google Moreover, making root file available to bot makes structure search friendly but what if we don't make this file available to bot? Will my other dynamic pages get affected which are generated through this file? Please advice. Thanks

Shareaholic and Social Warfare (paid) plugins are the ones I'm familiar with, Sameer. There is also a paid add-on for Sassy Social Share plugin that will accomplish this too. Others may have also added this capability. P.

Thanks Patrick. It is helpful. We've approached appx. 600 website owners and asked them to remove our link. Most of them do not respond , so, we disavow these links and sent reconsideration request. Again, Google refuses to remove penalty from our website. Anyone, can help. Thanks in Advance.
