Have you consider using tools like Moz Local, Synup, etc

If you prefer to do it manually Create a list of

• Business Name Variations
• Phone Number Variations
• Address Variations
• Website Variations

Then do a " " search in Google. eg: https://www.google.com.au/search?q="business"+"123456"

That will depend on the directory tools like Synup, Moz Local can tell you when they go up on certain sites.

If it's not a popular one there are a few different scenarios :

1. Do they give you a temporary page that is only visible to you and will go live after it's approved? You can check the HTTP header response fo it and if it returns 200 it's probably approved and live.
2. Do they give you a live URL that says it's pending verification? Scrape the page and use XPath to see id that bit of text changes.
3. etc

Give us some more info on it and perhaps we can help.

I can see the meta descriptions in SERPs. do you have any sample pages where it does not show up?

All the images on the page are not on a subdomain of rcautomotive.com but a completely different domain " images.dealerfire.com ". Even the image that is used to populate social media thumbnails is from dealerfire.com. I would start with looking at moving those over to rcautomotive.com if possible

What are your thoughts on targeting Singapore and Hong Kong ( and Australia ) with a .com.au domain with subfolder example.com.au/singapore and example.com.au/hong-kong with relevant hreflang tags. Has anyone does this successfully or come across any case studies for this?

The content will be in English on all those pages but they will have local numbers and office in each location. The team and content will also be different on those pages.

If I could I would use .com BUT that is NOT an option in this particular case.

Unless you test this on your site you will never know for sure. You can easily use some analytics software to do this : HotJar, CrazyEgg, LuckyOrange, etc all can track this data for you.

You can use some of the tools here to personalize content on your landing page, that said Google will try and rank you for the content it sees when they crawl the site. You can try and see what they see using The Fetch as Google tool from Search Console.

I have a few pages that rank with featured snippet and they bring in a lot of traffic to the site. I think that even though Google displays the content in the SERP, people click through to these sites.

The best time to ask for a review is once you have successfully helped your customers, I see a lot of sites ( especially eCommerce / Service related ) get a good review if they can email the customer and ask for one immediately after a service or product is purchased. ( assuming they had a good experience )

You can easily generate a direct link that you can embed in your email using this tool . ( NOTE: I was involved in making that )

I don't believe you can leave a review on Google anonymously. But you can create a review page on your website where you can publish these reviews. Bu sure to markup the review to stand out in the SERPs.

Ideally you would want to show review stars on a stand alone review / testimonial page and not on all pages of the site.

With the pace at which things are changing and throwing in machine learning in to the ranking factor, I would say it's close to impossible to have 100% topically relevancy for any good period of time.

Could this be a part of an A/B test to see the impact of Rich Snippets on the SERP ?

I am not sure if I understood this properly, can you point us to the competitor's site to have a look at it.

You can have a landing page like site.com/car-accident-lawyer and have the header navigation setup as site.com >> personal-injury >> accidents >> car-accident-lawyer. There is nothing wrong with that , but personally I prefer to classify content in to topics / sub topics, instead of having all the lading pages one hop away.

Not a Moz staff but here is my 2 cents on the topic :

I don't think Google indexes those results in the SERP site:feeds.feedburner.com . As such I am inclined to believe they carry little to no weight from an SEO point of view.

if you add the meta noindex, follow tag , it will keep the page out of the SERP but allows pagerank to flow through them to other pages.

its hard to say what might be causing it without looking at the site. My best guess would be to see if its being pulled form any old G+ Local pages or schema.org markup on the site.
