SEO Terms Defined
I'd supply clients with a glossary so that they have a point of reference. I'd also stick with your own terminology and explanation, I think it's important otherwise you will end up having one word that is used differently across multiple clients. What you have written explains the three just fine. If you wanted to, in the directory explanation you could expand it and say that there are primary, secondary and niche directories with different levels of benefits.

Really bad technical SEO and Nofollow
hi, there are thousands of ecommerce sites with over 200 or 300 links on their home page and they perform pretty well with no fluctuations in their traffic throughout years. Just a thought.

Client with Very Very Bad Onsite SEO
Let me explain you with the help of an example. Let's suppose, if you meet a person. Apparently, he looks really good. He is well dressed, healthy, smart and gives a first impression of being perfectly fine. You will notice that not only you but other people are also attracted and feel good to be associated with him just like you. He is attractive enough to make everyone his admirer BUT, from deep inside, he is completely shattered and mentally upset. There is a lot of destruction going on within himself but he is not showing it off to other people. From outside, he is great but from inside, he is broken. Do you think that person can even think of becoming someone friend and help him/her out of his problems? Can you think of any kind of support from him coming in to you? Definitely not! He himself in desperate need of help to be repaired and integrated. He is good for nothing but yes, seemingly, you may think absolutely the other way but the fact is you are being cheated. A good disguise doesn’t necessarily have to be true. Your client’s website has exactly the same story. It looks good from outside but technically, it’s broken. I’ll advice you to discuss everything openly with your client. I am afraid you are going to lose your repute and goodwill at the end of the day.

How much link juice could be passed?
Hi Runnerkik, As Paul suggested using Opensiteexplorer.org is a good way to go. When PR was everything back in the day i just the following formula to calculate the PR flow of the link: PR{flow} = PR {page} / N{links} * 0,85 + 0,15 So for a page with PR of 3 and 115 links on page you get: PR{flow} = (3 / 115) * 0,85 + 0,15 = 0.17217 points of link juice. When you reached enough inbound link juice you would go up a PR level. Since we no longer (primarily) look at PR of a page for building links (because we want to earn links) you get less of a say in the matter. If someone embeds your link in their site there is not much you can do about but contact them (if you don't want it). Writing good content created a natural flow of inbound links combine this with social media and you get a consistent inbound picture which would be appreciated by the search engines. If the site has a nice domain authority figure and the page your going for has a nice page authority figure you'll know how to pursue that. Still you can always assess if it is a link you want using the formula. It always worked for me (and still does). hope this helps kind regards Jarno
