If you want to increase your DA you should build links across the whole domain, but not to the specific page on your site. It takes time to show keywords in MOZ.  You might need to wait a few more weeks.

I would look into these things:

• how much traffic that specific site gets on a monthly basis

• how does the anchor cloud look like( do they have any spammy links?)

• Look at this site in the web archive to see if the theme of this site has been many changed

• If the site had any drops in organic traffic

• If the site has many redirects

• How many other sites are located on the same IP or C block( many webmasters put all these sites on the same server)

• Does the site has any high-quality links pointing to it

• What is the link velocity for the specific site

• Do not look into DA only because it could be manipulated

I would only keep the content that is related to the business unless you are getting a lot of traffic from these articles that are not related to heating systems and gas cylinders.  Getting traffic it is always good to show Google that your site is interested enough to get visitors. If you decide to remove these blog posts, I would check if any of these irrelevant posts have any backlinks before you remove them. If they do have some links should try to redirect them to relevant pages that you would on your site or just keep them because of the high-quality links. It is a good idea to set up these deleted pages to 410 ( Page Gone)  so Google will remove from the index much faster.

You should move your blog from the subdomain to a folder on your root domain. For example blog.website.com -> website.com/blog. Since Google treats all subdomains as separate entities or sites you are partially losing  SEO equity because it is getting distributed between subdomain and root domain.
