I keep seeing this new style of infinite scroll and I absolutely love it, but I have no idea what it's called or how to implement it.

Simply scroll down and see as the URL changes and a new page is loaded right within the page you are on. It's seamless and will really help increase the amount of pageviews we get.

I have a couple of questions in regards to it.

1. How the hell do you do it? Is there a Wordpress plugin that can add this functionality

2. Can I add it to my category pages + single pages.

3. Google Adsense and related networks have a policy of only 3 ads per page. As you scroll down the Tom's Hardware page above, you will notice it constantly loads new ads. Is this because the user has a Adsense premium account and can load unlimited, or is it possible to load them as it is technically a different page according to the URL.

I have also asked this question over at WPMU Dev incase there are some people there that know.

Very important. We do this ourselves and have seen true results from image file names, even when they are on a page with no relevant keywords and a different title element. It's the file name that always wins in the SEO, ie celebrity_name.jpg.

You can use a number of seperators, such as -, or +, but our favourite has been the underscore. I tend to avoid using spaces as the %20 part that fills it in the URL is attached to the keywords, which may harm the SEO. The seperators indicate them as seperate words.

I am attempting to download a Moz report for a competitor, but it has taken more than 2 days to process and seems to have stopped. I was hoping to spend the weekend going through the report, but it seems that I may no longer be able to. Any suggestions?

I have been analysing my Moz Ratings in comparison to competitors, and other sites with much less links have a higher authority and high moz rating/trust score. I believe this is down to my poor backlinks which I have found to be due to trackback/comment spam on my wordpress site. I have completely disabled comments and trackbacks/pingbacks on the site through the settings and theme files. According to recent links on Moz OSE, the spamming has stopped pretty much, so what should I do now to remove these spam like sites? I can't really contact them as they are literally spam sites with many thousands of links. Should I simply disavow the domains? we don't seem to have a Google penalty as of yet, but I fear we might get one, or our Moz rankings/SEO placements will be affected if we don't deal with this soon.

I used the plugin: Disable Comments and that disabled Comments, Pingbacks and Trackbacks on the site. I did however notice it was still enabled in some areas. I then used Simple Trackback Disabler, and that allowed me to remove them from all existing posts, pages etc. It also allowed me to delete 800+ current trackbacks that it seemed to detect.

As long as the products you are promoting fit with the feel of your site and are not straight up advertisements, they will unlikely mess with your customer loyalty.

When a user clicks on a 3rd party link, they get a cookie on their computer. How long that cookie exists for depends on the program. Amazon is only 24 hours, but others can be from 30-90 days. That means that a user could come back within 30 days and buy the product (or related product depending on the program) and you would still receive credit for that purchase. However, if the user clears their cookies, you will lose that affiliate lead. That's why in my opinion the 24 window is ideal, and that is probably why Amazon sticks with it, being one of the most popular programs.

There is endless material to read online, and Keri's suggestion is a good place to start. Put some hours into it and you will understand affiliate marketing inside out in no time. Some famous blogs using this type of approach include ProBlogger, and they have some nice tips etc on there for beginners.

Hello. So I am working away on Media queries to have our site load, or not load, certain elements of the page such as sidebars. This is so on a mobile device it is one stream of content, with a little icon to pop out a menu, similar to many sites when viewed on a mobile.

My question is: What happens to these elements that do not show? Do they still load, and are just hidden? The reason I ask is because the sidebars have advertisements in them, and the lower my CTR is, the lower my ad value is worth. If the sidebars are loading but not displaying because of the media queries, then the advert is still getting an impression but clearly its impossible to get a click, thus I am lowering my CTR massively.

So, are they hidden and still loading, or do they not load at all when a user accesses the site from a mobile site.

Thanks, I will check that out. I have been good with the links I have created myself. Some backlinks are spam, and we are working hard to break the link with those, but its tricky when it comes to Wordpress sites. I have actually checked out the recent links on high domain authority wordpress sites and they are having the same issue, but due to healthy amounts of good backlinks, it does not seem to be causing them an issue.

The help hub has some great documentation. I recommend starting there and you should be able to grasp the basics if you sit down and read through it.

I just checked and mine has gone up by 4, so we must be doing something right. Its the first time I've seen it change since I have been a member.

Hey. I have checked a few times and noticed I have not got any PageRank on Google. At first I ignored it as I assumed it was due to it being a new domain and that. However, I still don't have any pagerank, after around 4 months. I have had many domains in the past, and they have all got PageRank after the first few weeks at most, usually jumping to around 3/10. I am just a bit worried I am losing some ranking juice by not having any PageRank. All sites simply show N/A when I try and check it. I did read about PR not being updated as often as it once was, but a few months? Surely something should be there by now.

Downloading a list isn't possible, but if you log in as a page admin, and click "See All" on the new likes box you can endlessly scroll down to view all of your members names.

Its a pretty simple answer. The only thing you can do is create a new page, claim they are the same business and have your likes imported over. But downloading the list, nope.

We do this all the time on SearchBuzz. It doesn't always work, and you will find other sites ranking above you even if they only have one word in them related to the question, but then their whole site is filled with other related content. I am of course competing against the tabloids and major news sites, so it rarely works but when it does.. oh boy is the traffic good...

I can tell you right now that average monthly searches is wrong. The term is peaking more than ever on Google:

Hello. I have seen more and more sites doing this lately, including The Guardian website, which is accessed by millions. When Google Images added that frame thing, it killed my traffic by a huge percent. Even when people clicked on the image, it would load the image from my own site or CDN and I would gain nothing from it except used bandwidth. A lot of sites now have it so that clicking the image, clicking the "View Image" link or clicking the title will all take you to the relevant article on the website.

I have two questions related to this.

1} How do they do it? What is the script or code?

2} What are the SEO implications? Indexing issues, etc?

If you are unsure of what I mean, please type 'site:theguardian.com' into Google Images and see any of the results to replicate the issue.
