Google know what content people hang about and browse and are clever enough to know if a 'style' puts people off.  So what may be my clients 'visual' comfort zone is probably not the majority of the prospects he is trying to reach. Asking for a review won't get you in any trouble, but offering some reward for a positive review may cause problems. A lot of people, myself included, will check a places ratings on services such as google places or yelp in order to decide whether or not it's worth trying out. More reviews also lead to more trust.

Hi If the video is relevant to the content of the page, there will be no issues with this. I would just ensure there's unique content surrounding the link (or embed) on both pages. If you are linking to an amazing video, hopefully the benefits is that the user will be happy they found your site and share it! This is quite a small issue in the big world of SEO and nothing to really worry about.

Sure, if the site already has 100's of links, can you now start adding 40+ a month.The idea is to not have 100 link in June and 3 links in July through September, then 100 links again in October. (unless there is a large PR release, or another reason for large volumes of inbound links to occur) I would first say to start looking at pages that do not have these number of links and build them up. Home Page: 1,000's of links Product Category Page: 100's of links Product Page: 1-5 links Build links to this deep page first if you can. (make sure you have a 301 plan in place for dropped pages)
