How to get an online store ranked
By off-page, do you mean link building and the like? You're going to have a tough time getting quality links if you're not allowed to work on the content. I'd take a second look at the client and consider if it's going to be worth your while with the restrictions you've been given. Would it help if you had your client read the Beginner's Guide to SEO at http://www.seomoz.org/beginners-guide-to-seo to let them know why you need to be able to change things?

Question on getting new site with poor URLs indexed
Well, that URL is already indexed, so that answers that question! But you're walking into a bit of a minefield in this one. These URLs have also been indexed: http://www.misslovegirls.com/goods.php?id=3704 http://www.misslovegirls.com/goods.php?id=3705 You're going to have a big issue here with duplicate content. You're pretty much serving the exact same page multiple times (with the only difference being price/size/title, from what I can see, which isn't going to be enough of a difference). My advice would be to make one product page per item (ideally with a descriptive URL, not just numbers) that includes the different sizes and colours within the page. Furthermore, you're going to need a lot more descriptive content per product to ensure that there is enough content on the page for Google to register it as unique. Now in theory, there's nothing stopping you from indexing and ranking a URL with numbers/queries high up in Google. URLs in keywords in them are probably a bit more SEO and user experience friendly, though not absolutely essential. I just think you have a bigger issue on your hands here - your product pages are currently too thin and will likely be seen as duplicate by Google. I imagine you will want to rank these pages, so adding "noindex, nofollow" to the pages won't solve the problem. You're only alternative, therefore, is to make sure that each product page is descriptive enough to be seen as unique (300-400 words as a very rough guideline) and that all variants of the product, such as size or colour, are not on separate URLs, but on the same page.

Changing the G+ Author
How about using person #1 - real person as G+ author of the site pages so that the image appears in the search results. Then if person leaves company, change to person #2, basically changing the authorship for the content in the website (e.g. change schema from person a's G+ account to person B's for same content)? Thanks!

We have a situation with the domain www.curadebt.com where 90% of the links are no follow.
Hi Eric, Keri has a really good point. I'm looking at this page in particular: http://www.curadebt.com/settlements/letter7.asp#.T7yRpL89bvg ... These pages seem to be literally unending, filled with 100s of links that all look the same except for the last few inches at the bottom. Additionally, you have a page here for El Paso http://www.curadebt.com/debt/debt-free-debt-help-el-paso.asp#.T7ySd789bvg ...which is almost identical to this one for Huntington Beach... http://www.curadebt.com/debt/debt-free-debt-help-huntington-beach.asp#.T7ySeb89bvg If you ran these pages through the SEOmoz PRO Web App, they would be flagged as duplicate content. I'm not saying this to be harsh, but Google is undoubtedly penalizing you for pages like this. So here's my advice. Set up an SEOMoz PRO campaign. If you can't afford it, sign up for the free trial. Run your first campaign on your website and fix all the major errors that you find. Read this article by Dr. Pete - http://www.seomoz.org/blog/duplicate-content-in-a-post-panda-world As for link building, follow the advice of John and Keri above Hope this helps. Best of luck with your SEO!
