As far I am concerned one of the best link building strategies is broken link building. But what about if you reverse the tactic and you build links using only fresh web explorer?

Anyone have tried this or not yet? If yes, results are good? I will try it soon on a new site ...and some info regarding results would be appreciated.

Once I use it by my self and first links are indexed I will provide more data regarding the campaign...

I agree with you but I would not disavow anything. I will just abandon it and start all over. I am reading on http://www.webmasterworld.com/google/4576936.htm that is not working the tool. If you do an extensive research you will find more sources reporting that its not working. So I wouldn't risk anything.

Well, now I realise whats going on. Mainly the posts on the soccer blog are news related to recent football matches. Probably the site was appearing in the news section of Google... soon I will start again to work on him and I can post updates if anyone is interested ... So I guess , if I start to add High PA & DA authority links ( instead of weak forum profiles) + fresh content, soon the site is going to have massive traffic. Seems that related links, + fresh content rocks

Anyone have more info about this issue? I own 1 e commerce site, and one blog about soccer. Both are brand new, e commerce is older few months, with more backlinks and soccer blog with very few profile links from soccer forums. The soccer blog, was updated regularly 2 times per day, and I saw a tremendous rise on visits. Later on , I stop to update it, and then traffic drop immediately . Notice that I stop to build links at least 1 week before I stop to post content. But the site still enjoyed an increase in traffic even after I stop to add fresh links , and traffic dropped once I stop to create fresh content. The other e commerce site, wasn't updated at all, but I was building links  and I saw similar increase in traffic. Niche of the e commerce is very boring (industrial) and none of competitors own a blog. Site is quite big, with not even half of links from competitors but I almost outrank them all with internal linking on competitive keywords. (note that site have over 200 pages with at least 300 words each in contrast with competitor sites of 20 pages). Then I added a blog and I saw similar increase in traffic with the soccer blog. Once I stop to update again the blog, traffic dropped again.. anyone with similar experiences?

well, depends what kind of updates you do, not how many, but If they are right, probably Google will freak out in your favour! good luck you can read some case studies about the subject, latest which I read was from Neil Patel if I remember good...

Yes, But I would like to track it with the tools. My site is brand new and links dont show in Webmaster tools.

I own a website, called tipster.website I noticed that the site explorer doesnt recognise the domain extension. When they will be added too? I dont know if the other extensions work , but this one definitely doesnt work.

ps: majestic.com also don't recognise the extension.

This what I am hoping is that Google start to count also the 2-3 tier links to the site. Because I didn't see sites like this to get affected. Also the seo.com is using other tactics. Example I count 10 high authority blogger profiles with contextual link. I don't know if they are still there but , this is grey or black? Or can be seen also like a white ? How you see this tactic? I like speaking with you Hmm so this is the weakness of Google? I tell you something, I am trying to rank a site now with the main keyword difficulty 67%. Is not my seo site, is one other affiliate site. You know what frustrates me ? That the number 1 is ranking with links  by xrumer. The number 2 is a totally white hat site. The rest are also white hat sites. That confused me you know...So this guy , who put in number 1 the site is having very good knowledge of the weakness of Google? What going on? Anyway he don't have almost any of the backlinks what you stated above. Most of them are contextual (web 2.0 ) or from related sites , which after he bombard them with xrumer. You can advice me on this?

No you didn't. This you was trying to do? I just read that post as you suggested. I didn't doubt about seomoz links. What about the seo.com links? To get earned links is little difficult. You need unique+great content to achieve it. Not all people can afford to do this. So why not to give one alternative solution to our friend above, not black hat, but maybe Less costly? Or this is unethical for you?I don't know what job you do in real or what believes you have as a human but natural - un natural is almost the same. The same is black hat - white hat. Everything looks like how you want to see them. If one person add a link to your site from his profile for you is earned , but if you build a profile and you add it alone is black hat or builded , or a crappy link as you stated.

Ok, can you show me a website which have only earned links? And is beating the others ? First of all this is not possible in all niches. To rank with only earned links.

I would suggest that you clean all the links with authority less like 30 from domain. Also a cleanup of forum profiles, articles ect will be good. If you could show me your site I could help you little more.
