How to use internal tracking without causing duplicate content issues
Thanks Alan, The internal tracking was added through the cms but unfortunately canonical can't be added in the same way currently, and will require time from the web team - this is why I am investigating a way round this as an interim, but yes agree canonical is the way to go long-term. Cheers.

Internal Linking Structure - help Req'd
The part you asked about is great. I do notice some other URL issues you might want to take care of. The home link goes to http://www.highstreetvouchers.com/gift-vouchers/index (note the index at the end), so you have a duplicate there. Your special occasions link has a .jsp at the end, where most of your URLs don't have the .jsp. I do see some pages that are duplicates and show both with and without the .jsp.

Multiple Anchor text Links to 1 Page
There is no SEO benefit to have multiple internal links on a single page which have the same target page. When Google crawls your site, they will take the first link they find and associate the anchor text they find with that link. Any other links to the same page would be disregarded. If we were to change the top nav to be "Gift Vouchers" & "Gift Cards" as different tabs, both linking to the same page, what might be the SEO consequences? Presently the value of your link's weight is given to the phrase "Gift Vouchers & Gift Cards". If you make the split and Google sees the "Gift Cards" link first, then your page will be seen as more relevant to "Gift Cards" and less relevant to "Gift Vouchers".
