Need help with some duplicate content.
I didn't mention "prev" and "next" as they are already implemented in the head tag, would you add them directly to the links as well? Also, I think Google is the only search engine that supports them at the moment.

Need some advice on choosing categories.
Thanks so much for your kind words about the site. I'm aware of the duplicate content issue with the page numbers, and am in the process of correcting it. My main goal right now however is coming up with some good categories, and organizing all existing and future content into them. Did you have any feedback relating to that by chance?

Need some advice on long tail keyword research and general SEO methods.
Sounds like a good plan. On a blog like mine where you are adding more content each day, I'm assuming it's ok to have lots of days where you are just telling the story and not really trying to attract a lot of organic traffic for the post. I try to attract organic with every post, but sometimes it seems like the post is more to my existing readers, if that makes senese.

Question for a developer out there...
Hi Rick, I'm going through older questions that are unanswered. Did you get this one figured out, or are you still needing a hand? Thanks! Keri

Disqus Vs. Wordpress Vs Facebook VS Comment Plug Ins
Whoa! That was a mouthful! I have recently switched to Disqus because of the additional functionality like embedding media which I think enhances the "conversation capabilities". The ability to login from any one of the main social media platforms makes it easy and therefore encourages people to get involved. I am not keen on Facebook alone because you don't want to be dependent on a single platform and as for the Wordpress comments, nothing particularly wrong with it, but it is quite limited if you compare to Disqus.

Domain Suggestion Tool?
Have you tried any of these? http://www.searchenginejournal.com/top-tools-for-domain-name-brainstorming/7208/ In my experience the best domain suggestion tool is a group of people brainstorming in a room. Start off by writing everything down, however stupid it seems, as it might lead to something you like, and then run through and eliminate everything unsuitable later. I use thesaurus tools such as those in word processing software, and online. There are some important things to consider here: http://www.lifehack.org/articles/lifehack/how-to-choose-a-domain-name.html - and I just saw this while I was there: http://www.lifehack.org/articles/technology/how-to-brainstorm-domain-names.html

What's the best way to include a pdf in your post?
I'm trying to do this, and I can't get it to work. When I upload the file to google docs I don't get a .pdf file..I get a odd string of numbers and I can view it, but when I embed it it doesn't load. Like I said, the link doesn't look like the link on the google examples with the .pdf...I'm assuming you have to upload your file to google doc's first...then use the viewer to embed it right? I think I'm missing something.

Best practices to add Facebook comments to wordpress blog?
Both Aran and Keri have given great responses! One thing I want to add about using FB comments, is that I believe that you lose all your previous comments once the FB comments are implemented. But perhaps Aran can verify that. One post I always refer to on the subject is this one from Jon Henshaw over at Raven: http://raventools.com/blog/facebook-comments/. Not only is the post helpful, but the discussion in the comments is valuable as well. I'd definitely give it a read. I agree with Keri that while it can be frustrating to see more comments on FB than on the blog. But at the same time remember, you're not just building a blog, you're creating a community. Some members of the community are simply more comfortable using FB than they are commenting on the site. Since your site has such a wide reach, I could see my mom wanting to comment but only understanding how to do that on FB, so that's where she'd do it. It takes more work to moderate comments on both the blog and on FB and perhaps Twitter and anywhere else for that matter. But people are actively talking about your "brand" and getting your name out there. Please let me know if you have more questions! Jen

NEED HELP ASAP: SERVER ISSUE
Rick, I've noticed that that page and your site in general has some images that are fairly large in file size that aren't helping matters. One fast fix is to install the Smush.it plugin for Wordpress at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-smushit/. It'll help optimize images as you load them, and will also optimize all existing images in your media library. It's a lossless compression, so the image quality won't change, just the filesize. In the longer term, you might want to consider optimize for web in photoshop for some of your pictures. Here's a great SEOmoz post about other things you can do to optimize your site. http://www.seomoz.org/blog/optimizing-page-speed-actionable-tips-for-seos-and-web-developers. Some are easy, some will take a while longer. First thing I'd do though is put in smush.it and have it attack what it can on your existing images, since your site is still getting a lot of press.

How do these people have so many external back links?
It is likely you are looking at the root domain's links. Instead, you want to look at the subdomain links. For the most part, the primary domain's links are irrelevant. You only care about the subdomain's links. For example, if you site is noah.wordpress.com, the wordpress.com links do not benefit your site. Only the links to noah.wordpress.com are helpful. It can be confusing but using wordpress.com as an example, you will see the root domain has 245 million links. If you are using the SEOmoz bar, right before you see the DA and total number of links notice it says "root domain". Use the drop down to change it to subdomain.

Help with duplicate title tags?
Thanks for the reply, but my site is a blog. I'm thought wordpress (or a plugin) was supposed to create the content in a way where those pages I mentioned wouldn't have duplicate content. Plus these are entire categories that are showing duplicate....so basically I'm trying to figure out if the "duplicate content" that's showing is actually hurting me serp or not...and if I need to try to fix it.

Need advice on how to proceed
No disrespect, but how does your answer answer these questions: 1. Why is an image ranking google search results as if it is a normal page? 2. How did the image become it's on page? I''m not sure how this happened since that image was used in a page. Somehow the image itself has become it's on page and is getting ranked in google. 3. When a user find that page (which is ranking on the first page of google) they will be confused since it's an image and there is no blog info on there. I wonder if I should redirect that page to another instead. I don't want a lot of people going to that page and then quickly leaving, which will hurt my ranking. 4. There are other questions I asked, that you didn't provide details either. You said I should focus on "writing quality content" and "improve my keyword research." Ha,ha...I already know this. That doesn't have anything to do with my question.

Best way to use affiliate links
"lots of affiliate links" This is what I meant.... http://noahsdad.com/gift-ideas-down-syndrome/ Nothing bad there....I had just read it's better to 'mask" those links (maybe with a url shortener) so google does penalize you for having them....
