I would essentially recommend you to take your keywords, and see who is ranking better then you for your keywords. Look at their backlinks and try to get links from those kinds of sites. It has to be a little bit of everything:

Press Releases
Some sort of an Infographic?
Content that people would like to link to...some sort of How To Guides...
The same sort of Guides if you can do different ones for your own site and others that can be used for Guest Posting on other sites/blogs.
Actively participate in some niche forums/local forums where people might be looking for this kind of help.

I would recommend not using any kind of link networks. If you can contact relevant blogs directly, maybe do some of those kinds of guest posts etc. Also, diversify your link profile. Do a little bit of everything or in other words, don't overdo any 1 technique. A natural link profile consists of all kinds of links and too much of any-kind is where it becomes un-natural.

I think it's high time for every one to realize this. Unfortunately, there's no shortcut to success. The quick/manipulative link building works. Yes, you can buy links and essentially trickle through the SERPS and get into top positions. But then you are risking your website/domain/trust for long term. Think about times to come and weigh in the reward vs risk. From what I have seen, heard, a majority of this is coming from people using BuildMyRank.com Link Network. There might be others, because Google said these 700,000 messages include the manual and automatic warnings/penalties.

Saw this earlier today from a Newsletter. Kudos to Buildmyrank for openly accepting what happened and stuff. Anybody who was using their network for links, would they care to provide some examples of the kind of links were generated through their network ? I am kinda curious to look at them and see what patterns if any existed in there.

Presuming both the sites hosted in UK share the same or similar interests/categories/niche, it's definitely the UK hosted site to the UK hosted site. Sounds like you already knew it, just wanted to make sure

I have been in SEO since over 10 years now. And have been attending Pubcon since 2004 in Las Vegas. I think I have only missed 1.

This year, I have been thinking of which conferences to attend and here are the options. I am looking for 1st hand experiences from people who have attended multiple conferences to kinda do a comparison.

You could essentially add them as Product Tags on the Product Level page only. If you don't hyperlink those keywords to anywhere, you should be fine. However, it would be even better if you could somehow incorporate these phrases as part of the product description. That would be the best option in my opinion.

It's not wrong. Google generates and displays page titles and descriptions based on the user's query. They use a variety of information including: Page Title, Meta Description, Snippets of text on the page related to the user's query etc to generate the page title. It should.If that does not work for some reason, try Yoast. One of these 2 plugins should be able to deindex these pages for you. I presume you are using the latest version of Wordpress as well as the Plugin.

I am sure they did, but we were never able to have a read on it because price data was never added to the site. We just started measuring the Call to Action / Conversion as a successful RFQ or a visit to the contact page from these product level pages.

If you use All in One SEO Plugin, you can enable a setting where you can set a Noindex on all the Archive level pages. I hope this helps.

Is this data coming from Google Analytics or another stats from your hosting platform ? I would check them both to make sure it's in sync. If your rankings are stable and nothing on the site is wrong (or maybe it was broken or stats / tracking had some issues) depending upon what analytics/stats program are you using to track it. I would watch it next couple days to see what's going on.

I worked on a B2B with a similar problem sometime back. The business decided to implement a Request for Quote system. And there was no impact on the rankings.

Are those links visible in Google Webmaster Console ? Are the pages where you links are, cached in Google ? When you look at the cached version of that page, do you see your link ?

I would block m.domain.com from all crawlers except Googlebot-Mobile. At the same time, I would block domain.com from Googlebot-Mobile.

Based on what I see I would recommend you use this one: http://www.hylunia.com/pure-hyaluronic-acid-solution Here are my reasons: 1. http://www.hylunia.com/products/face-care/facial-moisturizers/pure-hyaluronic-acid-solution is way too long. 2. It 2 levels down in terms of folders. 3. You already have the category names in the Page Title as well as the Breadcrumbs, so you are not really missing out on the On-page by having the category names removed from the URL. That's just my 2c. I hope that helps.

If you think about it, anybody could hire a company and start buying bad links for competition. If it would be that easy to penalize a site, won't everybody be doing that ? But to answer your question directly, in order to get links that help you, you got to have a good understanding on the kind of links you are actually going to get. Will they be permanent links that are being built or are they rented links ? Depending upon your current link profile and the competition, I would suggest you evaluate what exactly needs to get done before reaching out to a Link Building Company per se.
