Is there anyway to take a random sample of links?

Quick question about OSE, if you are extracting with excel all inbound links from a big site like IMDB.com, OSE only exports 10,000. However IMDB has alot more links then that.
I was wondering what criteria does OSE use to select those 10,000 links from the 100,000+ which IMDB has. Is it a random selection of those 10,000 links or does it select those 10,000 links based on metrics like DA or PA?
For the settings i have selected: followed + 301s, only external, pages on this root domain, group by domain.
Cheers,
Chris
Hi we have a client who has about 40 different stores around the country. Most of the stores have their own Google+ Pages or Google Places. We want to take control of all 40 stores from a centralized location. So we can control their Google+ Pages/Google Places to improve them, and keep them uniformed with each other.How/Can can we do this?
Does Google provide any way to do this?
Thanks,
Mark
Hi,
Quick question.
I have a content page which contains a youtube embedded video. I want to rank that page for a specific keyword phrases on google.
I also want to rank the video youtube url aswell for the exact same specific keywords.
Does anyone from experience know if this would be considered duplicate content (same video) or work?
Same video on both URLs but the video on my site has additional valuable content surrounding the video.
Regards,
Jerry
Hi my client has a store which is not showing up on Google search results.
E.g. if you looked up store name and store location on Google, all the stores in that particular city show up except one. Also even if you click the: More results near CITY, and State the stores listing still doesn't show up.
So for some reason Google has excluded the store from Google search.
But if you go to Google Maps directly, and type in the same keyword "STORE NAME CITY" the store is displayed and there.
Does anyone know any reason why the store has been excluded from Google search results, but is listed successfully on Google Maps.
Hi i currently have duplicate Google places listings for a store. One of the Google Places listings is mine (which is correct) and the other is a listing which someone else put up (which is wrong). Which is currently sending customers to the wrong location.
I tried to claim the listing by clicking:
If you own this place, claim it and edit it directly
Which takes me to this page:
This Listing Is Unavailable
You may only access listings that you own. If you created this listing with a different Google Account, please log in to that account and try again. If you've deleted this listing, you may create it again in Google Places.
Is my own option at this stage to leave a comment with additional details use:
IMAGE ATTACHED
And select 'this is a duplicate listing'?
I would imagine this would take sometime, and i need it changed as soon as possible.
Any suggestions?

Hi i'm interested in learning more on how to create interactive tools for content purposes as Rand mentioned in this video - http://www.seomoz.org/blog/how-to-win-a-content-arms-race-whiteboard-friday
Is there any good resources out there which dive into the process e.g. how to go from the idea of the tool, to creation, design, programming, etc?
Or just anything on creating cool interactive tools.
Cheers,
Mark

We are working on a international site that uses IP redirection. I am currently trying to crawl and monitor the Australian version of the site, however the pro-campaign crawler is running from the US and only giving me US data.
Is there a way to tell the crawler to run through a local proxy so we can track international versions?
Thanks!
