You can definitely leave it as it is, it probably won't influence much. It's more additional information that could help you in the long run but it won't harm you.

RE: Will GA Autotrack affect affiliate sites not using autotrack?
Google Analytics Premium is something completely different from what you're thinking about. GAP is the paid version of Google Analytics mostly used for the biggest sites in the world. That's why the auto-track feature shouldn't cause any problems as well for the affiliate sites as well. You're gonna be fine while using it.

RE: Google Analytics - whats best way to set up to track users on geotargeted sub folders & tlds ?
Hi Dan, you don't see a button to add a new filter? If so, then it seems that you don't have the right access level.

RE: Does the Google News 'Editor's Picks' benefit SEO?
The latter, Google News is quite different from normal SEO in the sense that it won't help you usually rank better in organic search. Although in the long run you could benefit from it as more people see your content and you could get links through it.

RE: URL parameters
HI John,
Well you never can check if it's absolutely correct but you're following the best practices for creating pagination. The only thing I would add are the rel next and rel previous tags Google released a while ago. They tell them that there can be more related content be found and also tell them on how to use switch between the pages. More information about this feature could be found here on the Google Webmaster Central Blog.
Good luck!

RE: What are top 3 directives to prepare for a Google algorithm update?
Have you evaluated your link opportunities but also your current backlink profile? This could help you in finding out if there are any opportunities that you might be able to take advantage of or the links that might be hurting you currently.

RE: How is Google determining location for geotargeting
Good question, there are a lot of factors that Google is taking into account but overall the answer is that it's very likely that your site will still show up in other countries if it's related to the query of the user.
Google is looking at the location of the person doing the query but also at it's language. So if you're deep in Spain but still doing English queries a lot it will easily learn that you're probably interested in English sites.

RE: Google Custom Search Options
Hi Monica,
Long time ago we used to have the custom search engines by Google to make sure we could serve the users with customized search results. You can change most of the lay-out, and what you could do (it's not the most beautiful option though) embed the results within an iframe on a specific page within your site so it completely embodies the look and feel.

RE: Sitemap for Mobile Version of Site
Hi John,
You will need a entirely new sitemap for your mobile site. I would recommend also verifiying you mobile site in Google Webmaster Tools to make sure you can track all your data in there. This will also make it easier to verify and submit your sitemap within this profile. I would myself not prefer to have the mobile sitemap in my normal site account because these two are separate things.

What I would also look at is the data that you can find in Google Search Console about the backlinks that you have so you're able to check their quality.

RE: Seo sitemaps
It does not, you can probably submit the same sitemap hundreds of times a day without any impact to you.

RE: International SEO : Redirecting spanish visitors to spanish site
That shouldn't really matter, you can do this across different domains. That's also one of its intentions.

RE: Canonical Tag
Hi Alice,
Why? It's quite common sense to me as well to have canonical urls on all pages of your site. So you'll always make sure the page itself is also the original page for the content. When this differs when you copy/ paste the content for example then you'll change the canonical url to the respective page.

RE: Google search analytics position - how is it worked out
Have you noticed that some of the lines could mean different things as CTR and the ranking for that position? In other cases, sometimes Google has delays or hiccups in there data, sometimes that could be the cause for empty datapoints for a certain date.

Hi David,
If I remember correctly you can enter phrases with quotes around them like: "two words".
Hope this helps!

RE: XML Href Lang Setup
Yes, you would basically create on all sites that you're linking to a XML sitemaps file to make sure Google will know where to find the links and to see where they belong to. Hope that helps!

RE: Google Analytics - adding tracking codes
When you have a Google account you almost directly have a Google Analytics accounts. Accounts consists of different properties for different sites that you'd like to track. On top of that can properties include multiple views when data from the property can be filtered and drilled down.

RE: Multiple Organization Schema on the same site
I don't see any issues with using multiple organization schemas on one page. Mostly because you're listing multiple organizations on the page you'll also tell Google they're multiple by adding the Schema to them. I would even say this is a positive signal to Google because you've used the resources to mark them like that.
