Hi There! I'm so sorry, but I have no experience with this product. Maybe others in our community will? In the meantime, just a word to the wise: modern Local SEO has moved away from the idea of building hundreds and hundreds of citations as a smart use of time/funding, as when you start talking numbers like that, you are likely talking about very low-quality directories that your customers will never see and that will have little or no effect on your local rankings. Rather, these days, a typical approach to citation management would look something like this: First, audit your existing citations by a) doing a lookup of your name/zip on a free tool like Moz Check Listing to discover where you have accurate, inconsistent, missing, incomplete and duplicate listings on the most important general local business data platforms, and, b) do direct searches in Google for your brand name and your industry/geography to see which platforms are coming up in the first 3-5 pages for your searches, again, to discover any missing or problem listings. This combination of efforts will turn up the platforms your consumers are seeing and that are most like having the greatest impact on your local rankings. Likely, were talking about 50 or so citations - not 500 of them, as you can see. Next, once you've identified all problematic listings from the above 2 steps, you have 3 choices: Correct everything manually, keeping track of all of these listings in a spreadsheet, including columns for the data they contain, their location, their status and any user/passwords you were obliged to create to set them up. Then, on a regular basis, you will want to manually monitor these listings for any changes that might occur (automation of bad data or third party edits). Pay someone to do everything in option 1 for you, including the ongoing monitoring of the listings. Use a citation management service. You might like to check out Moz Local if you've not done so before, as this is our product designed to manage your citations and monitor them on an ongoing basis for any changes. Moz Local covers the most important general platforms, and you might want to back this up with manually managing a handful of other citations if there are major industry-specific platforms in your industry (like Avvo for lawyers or ZocDoc for doctors). Using Moz Local tends to represent a major savings in effort on your part, and does contain that vital element of notifying you if your listing data changes (as well as other really cool features like review notifications). You might like to compare it to some of the other citation management services out there, like Whitespark or Yext. In any case, you should not have to worry about hundreds and hundreds of citation regardless of how you approach their management - it's just not going to move the needle. These days, you want to get those core citations accurate, be sure you've dealt with any rank-draining duplicate listings and that you're monitoring your listings for changes. Then, move onto other areas of marketing that require more creative investments: content development, earning and building links, managing your reviews, social participation, offline marketing, etc. Hope this helps!

Client in Scotland wants to rank for France term
What Hurf said is almost perfect. One correction: "However, If they are targeting French speakers exclusively then I see a case for ruling out on a .fr domain, especially if you have a local presence over in France. " French speakers are in many other countries than France. Keep that in mind. But I don't think that pertains to you. I think Hurf is right in that you are trying to reach all Europeans or just the UK. You want them to vacation in France in your client's chalets. If that is the case, you are fine. There is no need to include the local information of the chalets across the site to make it look like you are from France. Are you having issues with terms in particular? Can you share some of those and the domain? We are happy to take a look!

Quick way to review Disavow?
Like Sean said, running an OSE report on the domain could help get some metrics. The problem though is that it's likely that there are domains disavowed that are not in the Moz list of backlinks for that site. Ahrefs does have a bulk upload of urls/domains that you can do and get metrics back. That might be useful. With that said, however, I rarely make disavow decisions based on metrics alone. I'd want to see the link itself. Still, I think what you're trying to do is trim the list down so that you can manually review links that are potentially good. A little shameless self plug here...my disavow blacklist tool might help. I've got tens of thousands of domains in my blacklist that I almost always disavow. You can run a domain across my tool here. I have a paid version of the tool that would allow you to upload the entire list of domains that are in your disavow file and it will give you a CSV of which ones are blacklisted by me. You can find that here. There are some domains that are whitelisted on my bulk disavow upload such as ones that link out to everyone like aboutus.org or alexa and others. You could then just look at the domains that are not on my blacklist/whitelist. That could give you a smaller list to sort through.

Links from image sites - good or bad?
I completely agree with Eric - you're getting these links because you likely rank well in an image search. While it is completely up to you to decide to keep those links or disavow them (I have links from some of the same domains and have kept them without adverse effects), if you choose to disavow, I would recommend disavowing the whole domain. These types of sites will only continue to add images - adding links to your sites - and disavowing a select few won't be as effective as disavowing the entire domain.

New Page Not ranking?
This. Unless there's unique information on /oak-beams/ about oak beams overall that isn't also on /reclaimed-oak-beams/ and/or /air-dried-oak-beams/, you're going to have a difficult time ranking the brand new page.

Do Query Strings strip SEO value?
Yes there is! But the specific query string/parameter GCLID is mostly ignored by the search engines as it's a parameter that is often used by search engines to identify users. For example, every link from Google Adwords will contain this parameter.

Pages for similar keywords?
Hi, Those keywords are all essentially the same thing, maybe with the exception of 'catered' and 'luxury', but even then, you'd have a hard time writing unique enough content for those 2 variation sets. If you tried to write content for each of those keywords individually, you'd end up with almost identical content, worded slightly different. If the only thing this client does is ski chalets, you'd probably be better served to use the home page as your target URL for these terms. As for additional content, I'd recommend a blog or FAQ section that provides additional information about the area, attractions, things to do, etc. The domain name won't play a role in ranking, that's an old SEO tactic that Google squashed years ago. There are many other things that could be preventing your site from getting to the first page, like overall site quality, backlink profile, the list goes on and on....

Your connection is not private
Maybe your hosting also include certificate for your site and support secure connection too. But since you didn't enable this visitors may get other site (yeah, that's right!) and also invalid certificate (because certificate mismatch with domain). Isn't great situation, but you can check your site with https:// and disable it on your hosting control panel.

New pages not ranking
The interesting part about your question is that the old pages never ranked, and the new pages aren't ranking either. Are you trying to rank for a keyword that's too difficult? Does your site have a manual or algorithmic penalty? Are other pages ranking on your site for different terms? You could have technical errors that are preventing the site from moving forward, or the keyword you're trying to rank for may be too difficult given the authority of your site vs the competition. Can you share more details about this situation? Without knowing the site and the target it's pretty hard to give any real recommendation. Every site with relevant content to the target keyword phrase and tuned up onsite should at least hit page 5 as long as the keyword isn't overly competitive. Would you be able to share more about this situation?

Hi there. _ I don't feel comfortable doing it this way as it goes against what I believe is good SEO_ Not true at all. Good SEO is exactly about this - good related content. In your case it's a little difficult, since it's international company and all. But the thing is that simply having local listings will not make you rank for local results, unless your brand is directly associated with the keyphrase you're trying to rank for. I would recommend to have not just 1 contact page per location and that's it, but have somewhat unique content for each location (or at least each major area).

Google will do this as they see fit in an effort to connect users with the content they are looking for. They will even serve multiple page titles for the same page based on the user search. The factors that determine that are anchor text to the URL and click through rates for specific kws. Essentially Google will treat your SERPs like their own personal Adwords ad, where they will tinker with the ad copy to achieve their desired result.

"near me" campaign
Hi, I think you have to ask yourself if this is the right thing to do first. As an example, I have never searched for anything 'near me'. I always use the phrase and my location. If I do this in my browser, and search for 'restaurants near me' then I get the search page for Trip Advisor, but it seems to think that I am based in the US (I am in the UK), so not sure what is going in with that. Before that though, I get Google local results and then more local services offering to show me restaurants "In Chester", which is where I am. My primary thought would be to do some research and find which way you should do this - 'phrase and location', or 'near me'. Which one do you realistically have a chance of competing against? Without knowing the full scope of your objective, it is a little limiting for me to offer an opinion on, but my gut tells me that you should do some research into search popularity first of all. -Andy
