Thank you for the guidance. Yes i will add text. But then, in front of the creativity of BMW print ads, these words will be futile. But for the sake of SEO i will have to add a bit of it.

As an example, if i write an article on 12 best print ads by BMW, it will have 12 images and possible 12 single liners and a paragraph.

The images will have the necessary alt tags. But overall, will this post be counted as low content and is there changes of being penalized by google for it?

1. I had 3 ads on site and i am dividing it all so that the top is not heavy. it wasnt previously heavy too, but i have modified it nonetheless.

2. I am rewriting at least 150 articles out of the 950 articles on site. I think those articles are poor in quality. And they need a boost. I am also tackling duplicate content issues and have removed multiple tags from a single post and kept 1 tag on 1 post limit.

3. If after all this, the site does not come up, then it is a backlinks problem and then i need to dig into ahrefs and check out what to do. But i am hoping to god it recovers after the content modification.

These things might take 2 months but i think they will make a slow but sure difference. My livelihood depends on this blog so the return of traffic is very essential for me.

I received an unnatural outbound links penalty on 4th of June 2016. I immediately acted on it, and analysed a lot of outbound links and removed most of them. I had to file reconsideration 2 times, but on 26th of June my penalty was revoked.However, traffic drop was even worse 27th June onwards and it is still dropping. Now, i dont know why the traffic is dropping. Any idea how much time it takes to come back from an unnatural outbound link penalty? PHd8BzX.png

On 3rd of May, i suffered a Manual google unnatural outbound link penalty. I recovered from the said penalty on 27th of June.

However, i have noticed that my traffic has been dropping since 23rd April. I am confused where to target my work. Should i work on thin content and is it an algorithmic Panda problem (but my keywords are still ranking good) or is it a Penguin problem (I had 6 domains with payday loans backlinks and i have dosavowed 32 backlinks recently)

What should be my plan of action here and what would you recommend? An image is attached herewith for your reference,

I just checked my backlinks in Ahrefs because my traffic has been dropping since the last 4 weeks. I have 2 questions

1. is google penguin a part of Google core algorithm yet like Google panda is?

2. I have backlinks of Payday loans which many webmasters claimed were the problem. The anchor text was payday loans. The sites hardly have any pagerank or anything.

What is the way forward for me? So i contact the webmasters, and they dont reply then disavow the links or disavow them directly knowing that google hates pay day loans backlinks

Hello. My blog is 9 years old and i just got serious with regards to earnings. I have observed that whenever i showed published date traffic drops immediately.

For years i stopped showing dates. But now, i feel dates are an important factor in Rich snippets because most of competitors who are shown in rich snippets are also showing dates. So i started showing "UPDATED ON" in the Genesis theme framework.

Traffic drop is the same as before. Why is traffic dropping whenever i show dates? Even when i show updated dates, wherein all articles show dates of just 1-2 years and none of them are showing how old the site is.

And yes, quality is high, content is high. URL is www.marketing91.com

My main wordpress install is at www.marketing91.com However, i want to expand the topic to include advertising as well. I was considering installing a sub domain but instead i have decided to install a sub folder.

So, now the URL should read www.marketing91.com/advertising/ for the advertising blog. I have one question though. In the sub folder, can we use the same installation of wordpress as applicable on marketing91.com??

I have a wordpress installed at marketing91.com. I dont want another wordpress to be installed in marketing91.com/advertising/. Instead, i would like to manage both url from the same wordpress installation. So how do i do that?
