Hi, I usually use full sentences including a keyword. Have tons of searches for these elements. It is a long tail but it increases site traffic. In my opinion optimal size is like in the meta - title ... no more than 70 characters. Marek

We recently launched a facebook like campaign for one of our sites and got 100's of likes, and this appeared to contribute to our Trust Factors on SEO Moz.  Google doesn't seem to be able to differentiate between paid advertising on Facebook and non paid like campaigns.   It seemed to help us although we weren't specifically looking to work with Social as a part of our SEO strategy at that time.  Anything that gets you out there has got to be good regardless of the size of the URL.  In fact, maybe better to go with short URL given the character restriction on Twitter e.g.

ahh, I see.  I think there can be cases where it's valuable to pull in a feed.  Perhaps an index of relevant headlines around a topic, or maybe headlines from a users blog posts.  I wouldn't use it as the primary basis of an SEO strategy though. Also, one tip if you're planning on doing something like this.  It's much better to cache the results of a feed on your server, rather than pulling in a live RSS feed every time a user loads a page.  Given the value that Google places on page speed loading, you would probably have a greater negative impact on page load speed by adding RSS feeds to your site, unless you have a cache system in place.

Hi Chris and everyone else, Thanks for the comments. I noticed some slow response times yesterday. Right now things seem fine from where I am, but I'll drop a note to the developers and have them take a closer look at things and see if we can make sure the slow response times don't happen again. Hi, English is not my mother tongue but I'm looking for a content spinning services provider to deliver hundreds of description for the same products categories. For example, I have 380 product descriptions for 1 category, 450 for another category, etc. and I have 87 categories to cover. I think content spinning is the only solution to generate these descriptions in a reasonable time frame and at a reasonable cost, too. What do you think? Best regards, Sophia. You can't force a crawl early in your campaign, but you can do a crawl on demand of up to 3000 URLs from http://pro.seomoz.org/tools/crawl-test.
