Hide sitelinks from Google search results
Yes, I tried the old Search Console option before I posted in here but sadly, it just redirects you back to the new version. However, I didn't even think about the redirect opportunity and considering the website is built on Wordpress, that should be easy enough to set up. Thanks so much!

Seasonal Setting Options for Google My Business
Here is the answer that I've received: "Hi At the moment the work round is to set as open for 1 minute at 2am on Monday morning. It worked for a top contributor but not for Nathan who tried it. I think it could be a bug affecting older GmB entries? Its been known about for a long time. Andrew."

Delete Campaign in Moz to change from http:// to https://
We are tracking our site with a Moz campaign and have recently updated the site with significantly more info and quite a few more pages. Should we delete the existing campaign and start a new one? Thanks!

Facebook Contests
Hey Matt, From my knowledge this is what I know about FB competitions: You can't ask people to share or tag: "3. Promotions may be administered on Pages or within apps on Facebook. Personal Timelines and friend connections must not be used to administer promotions (ex: “share on your Timeline to enter” or “share on your friend's Timeline to get additional entries”, and "tag your friends in this post to enter" are not permitted)." You have to acknowledge the competition is in 'no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.' I also recently read the following article which provided some interesting insights: https://www.macandernie.com.au/blog/how-to-run-a-competition-on-facebook Hope this helps

Domains and Domain Authority
I think Emily is on the right track here. You'll want to 301 redirect to pages that are similar in content. Your top level page on flowers from the old site should redirect to the top level page for flowers on the new site for example. It's more time consuming to implement one to one redirects this way rather than forwarding the entire domain to the homepage, but it will keep your referral traffic intact and Google is more likely to pass on the equity you've built over the years.

Disadvantages of Migrating Website to New URL
Matt Dunlop 4 minutes ago Edit Thank you so much for the reply! I've been working on tracking, analyzing and optimizing this particular website for about a year now. I've optimized my homepage for the best and most specific keyword I can and I've got a 94% optimization score on the page (I can't put the keyword in the URL as it's the homepage). I've added in my competitors into OSE and reviewed their backlinks and besides some local advertising backlinks they have received, my Moz stats are much better than the competition. There is one competitor in particular that is mult-national company and I know that as a small business I don't stand a change in ranking higher than them, however, the other top competitor I have in my local market - does not optimize and still ranks higher than my site. One of the largest frustrations I have with this particular competitor is that the page that results higher than mine has little to no content on it and in other searches (because we are in the same industry) - their homepage will rank higher than my optimized interior pages. We use facebook and link back to our service pages which contain our keywords as often as possible and my crawl from Moz shows 1 missing meta description tag (on a category) and that's it. I did read up on the Moz Blog today and it seems like everything is on-track but there's no progress. I should also mention that the website is built on Wordpress and as far as I know from the stats I am pulling from Moz - I've covered my bases. I'm not sure what other specifics I can offer that might assist me with this challenge. I guess at this point - maybe a second set of eyes on an audit (outside of Moz - because I look at that all the time) is what I need???? If you have any recommendations on a comprehensive site audit, I'd be very interested. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to this.

Awesome, hope you're able to get this setup. Domain-wide duplication would be a tragedy!

Compare Metrics in Moz
Howdy! I'd say the 'Links' section of the Moz Glossary would be a solid place to start.

Website Titles in Google
Is this happening to all of your titles or just some of them? To me it sounds like you've somehow setup WordPress (or a plugin) to add a prefix to all your titles. Which then forces in "XYZ Company |" before every title you've made. If that's the case you should be able to find it somewhere and change it back.

Ranking Suggestions
I'd clean up any errors that google webmaster tools says you have, Fix all 404 and other pages Check on keyword usage through out your site, make sure you link to others a few times on each page but only sites you trust that are relevant to your site. Write helpful content about your site's subject matter that will help users so they trust you further to use your service after they see the help works. Monitor your traffic and see where users are clicking once they hit your site, and adjust the user experience based on that info and bounce rates. See what your competitors are ranking and for what keywords, see about finding other keywords they may have missed, or just check to see how you could better use them on your own site. It's no longer about being better and having more links from others. It's about how legit your information and content is to what your overall site is selling. If you have a carpet cleaning site but you give reviews and info about nothing once so ever, you haven't introduced anything to the SERPs and therefor will be left behind. Content is key but helping your fellow users is the overall goal. I'm sure others will mention the many things I failed to think of at this very moment to assist you

Issue with Title of Homepage - Wordpress Platform
The boys above have detailed the more technical aspects - the common issue is the length of the title. 1 pixel over 512 pixels and the title truncates as you have described above. I have seen it truncate as you have described from 487 pixels. I tested your example and that is 580 pixels. XYZ Company: Primary Keyword in Ontario Canada - XYZ Company Hence on your example to reduce the pixel width and also for a better CTR I also recommend you use the pipe | and not the hyphen -. Plus you may need to extract Canada etc. So confirming have you checked the Title is 512 pixels or less? If still truncating test 487 pixels to be safe. I built my own title tester given it is such a common issue so I could measure the pixels https://www.predikkta.com/products/free-serp-optimizer-tool.html Hope it is as simple as outlined above. I add it is worth getting right as it has a strong influence on CTR.

Duplicate Title Tags/Meta Tags for Website with Multiple Locations
Are individual versions of the quote form being indexed? Do they come up in a site: search of the website? Are individual quote form URLs serving as landing pages for organic traffic? If not, you are probably good to go. It doesn't sound to me like your current situation is much to worry about.
